So.........just Defenders? Which model, old or new?
I have a 1960 Series 2 109 regular. I dislike the new Defender, it looks like all the other modern 4x4 SUV's. I bought my first Series in 1973.
Well, ya learn something new all the time. According to this Wiki article 5 digits is precise to 1.11m. Going to 7 or 14 is overkill.

Nice to find this thread! Deflating isn't much of a problem, I have a set of 4 screw on deflaters, with 2 set for 20psi and 2 set for 15. It is inflating that is slow as I have a Viar with 1 hose. The aftermarket 2-4 tire systems look slick but $$$$! Oh Well, start saving......
There is somethin wrong with his coords, The second set of digits have 7 digits and should have 6 and a Letter N or W. Looking on google earth I place him on Forrest Rd 223 around 2,904m elevation, in the Upper Kerr Rec area. If I suss the coords right?
I'd have to ask why they felt the need to add another axle? If it is for weight of the camper, I'd walk away from it, 'cause likely it is top heavy, poor fuel economy and not able to get far off-road. If all you want to do is flattish dry dirt roads then it might be perfect! What engine is in...
It can help to scout out an area on GoooooooooooooogleEarth before you go. Just be aware that if you plan on setting out a table or chairs/ tent, make it something you don't mind getting stolen.
I'd look at around Hurricane. Watch Matts off Road Recovery for some ideas on YT. Also check out; https://accessmap.utah.gov/
Toquerville Falls looks inviting.
I did see that, the first link the $14.35 is for the wick not the stove. If you highlight the stove picture you get the stove price $396.02, still too expensive and they probably make them for the first company.
I just found this stove; what is old is new again; it is KISS, runs on lamp oil so fuel storage isn't much of an issue. Durn expensive though and that's why I don't have one.

What is long term, where, staying in Country? Satellite communications and a credit card. Millers Towing charges @$4000 to recover you from Saline Valley/Death Valley area.
a winch and hours of watching Matt's offroad recovery on YT to learn how to use it(and maybe how not to get stuck) .
No I don't know, Even if they picked them up and put them in trucks and hauled them away it's not a big job. Like I said it depends on what they do with them and the size of their equipment. They probably have at least a 20T truck and a medium front end loader available, if not they can contract...
