photo.jpg Yesterday I got up. Early, 4:30 or so,, Made a pot of coffee, then went out to the barn and got a fire going.. went back in the house until the barn warmed up a bit, then spent the rest of the day removing my home made drawer system in order to beef the drawers up a bit. They used to rattle a bit going over sharp bumps so I made up some re-enforcement crossmembers and screwed everything back together. No more irritating noise.. Then I purged all the stuff we carry around and repacked everything in a more orderly fashion, based upon usage. What do we get to more often, and/or what do we need to get to quickly in case of an emergency. Everything else got packed into the hatch compartment up front of the drawers.. I also installed a pair of "quick fists" under the hinged deck on the right to hold my new X11 Fiskars axe.. here is a shot of the completed drawer system that I built from my head..

I just had Subaru of Daytona do an oil change and tire rotation. On the turbo Subaru engine, 3750 mile synthetic changes are a must for a smooth running turbo. Last oil change was in Oregon, and now one in Florida!

Cool, enjoy it. In a few days it will be ten years that I have been driving H3s and still love getting in it. My first one was an '06 in the same color as yours.

I rented a JK Unlimited out in CA several years back and would never make the switch. Nothing against them for any Jeep owners reading this, just much prefer the H3. In due time you will find a reason for 4 low. Does yours have the adventure package?

I wish it did over time I'll turn it into an adventure package just a couple of lockers and a 4-1 transfer case

They are surprisingly capable without but correct, get yourself some lockers and 4:1 low range and you are set.
