And the next update is here.
I painted the polyester corner pieces, as that is nescesary due rain and such. It takes moist in it without paint.

And then I worked again a bit on the kitchen unit.

Well that is it for today.
Tomorrow I will install the two hatches on the left and right side of the trailer and the solar panel.
If I have time I will install a lock button on the kitchen unit hatch and if there is more drive the I will install the Oztent/Rhino Rack Foxwing awning.

I hope all will work out the way I planned.

And, Iam almost done on the inside and outside, hehe. Almost, which means, the fun is just begun.
Here the results of the day.
Awning is on the trailer.
Hatches are mounted.
Trailer is cleaned up a bit.
Kitchen unit looks nice now.

Some pictures to show.

Well, that was it for the day.
Still enough to do. But tomorrow I will go and buy square tubing for the bumper in the rear.
And that will be the thing I will work at during the following two days.

Looks good! really awesome work!

Do you have to go to get it legalised before you can really tow it? How does that work with self build trailers? Does it need its own plate or can you run it with the fronterra plate?

And here are the results of another two days of work.
Tomorrow back to the company and they finish a few things. The only problem is the door. The supplier isnt cooperative.
So hopefully they will have a solution for it.

I really love it.

Hello,

We are back from our first weekend with the trailer. And it was a succes.
We had a little list of things that we could change, adjust or would be supplemented.

First the trailer in the field.

And now the little upgrade;
Bed and drawer

It all has to be painted, but it looks better. Advantage is the better fit of the plano cases, an extra drawer, and the bed is stronger.
Today I will start making the front of the trailer.
Two legs to make it more stabile.
And a platform to carry the two jerrycans.
I ordered already the holders for them.
That will be the job for today, plus sanding the trailer to get it painted.

And now we are very busy with Stage 2.
Next tuesday at last the door will be in, and that means, we finally can go and do all the things we like to do.
In the meantime we did paint the trailer for the first time.
And ran out of paint. So the second layer will be somewhere next week.
but lets start after the weekend.
A new protector on the front, which will hold two studs/legs and two jerrycans

Then I had to adjust the wheel lock. It wasnt big enough for my tires.

Then I started to prepare for the paint job

second layer

And now the first layer of Raptor bedliner black

Now it is waiting for the next batch of raptor to arrive.
In the meantime, little things are to be done.
Like little shelves with usb charging points

Bolting on the jerrycan holders

mount my old 1000kg winch

tomorrow I will take out the bed and wire on the winch and the usb cahrging points.
I will make small slits in the bed board so it can ventilate better.
Start with a few and see how much I need to do.

After the second layer of paint, the door mounted and such, it is time for my girlfriend to start painting the interior and I will start working on the roof racks.

Why do Touaregs and bedouine wear black and very dark blue?
And the roof stays partly white.
Ohw, and heat is welcome in the netherlands, so, good thing.
