Hello all my names Steve I've been offroading/hunting/camping for years but I love getting out into the woods just to escape and not HAVE to do anything like hunt etc. Owned multiple Jeeps, SUV's and now this Colorado.
Welcome!

Hello all.
My name is John Ewing.
I live in Brentwood California (in the SF East Bay, not Los Angeles).
2005 Chevy Trailblazer LS with several modifications.
I have been off-roading with the Trailblazer on the sand dunes in United Arab Emirates, mountain trails in Oman, deserts in California, prairies in Canada, and many other locations. I haven't done a lot of overlanding, but am looking forward to it.

I have had a 4x4 as a daily driver since 1989. My current vehicle is a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer that I bought in November 2005 while on a road trip from Long Island NY to Escondido CA for a job change. The pictures below show the TB near the Burj Dubai (UAE) in it's former glory with a custom front bumper and a 3" lift (maximum for the TB without going to wheel portals). When I imported it to Canada in 2011, I had to return the configuration to stock. I worked in Canada for eight years so it stayed in stock configuration until now. I'm back in California full time now so I want to get back into off-roading. I plan on reinstalling the bumper and lift. Then I'm going to do a full overland conversion. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and having great adventures.

Hi all,
Just stating our Overland journey.

We are from Taupo New Zealand and is a family project for me and my two boys.
We are hoping to vlog our missions as we go.

Just have a stock standard 2wd Nissan Navara Ute at the moment.

Going to trawl through the forum and soak up as much info as we can.
Keen to connect with other overlanders in NZ.

Roscoe

Hello!
Alaska
2000 Jeep wrangler(work in progress)
I have been “overlanding” my whole life…I just didn’t know there was a name for it.

Mine is the snow drift with a snorkel
Hello Dan, welcome to Overland Bound from Washington State, nice to see another way a snorkel earns its keep, I have seen them used for reducing dust intake in the desert, here in the NW they are good for keeping the rivers at bay, apparently in Alaska used to keep the intake above the snow line...lol
LOL. This winter the snow is not my friend. When I bought this TJ, I had big plans, a Garage, and a shop. Some sudden changes(for the good…mostly) brought me south and in a new to me house…no covered area to keep the Jeep in and work on it over the winter.

Welcome from Ohio. I've been using my F350 for the last 5 years. Full size is a great way to overland...
