Newbies here. Brand new to overlanding. We are from Louisville, KY. Our vehicle is a 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. Our experience is 'BRAND NEW'. :) We are open to invites to any events, trips, etc. throughout the remainder of the year and next year. We're currently building our rig. RTT purchased but not installed yet. Recovery gear stowed. No wench as of yet, that will be later down the road likely. We're up for hitting light/moderate trails, nothing too super crazy, but just enough to be adventurous. Willing to do more if we go with more experienced folks. Gotta get our feet wet first. Thanks and we are excited to be a part of the community and hope to be involved and attend events, trips, or whatnot.

Hey everyone,

Location: SE Pennsylvania
Rig: 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon
Experince: Got in to exploring and off road during my 6 years living in WA state. Had a 95' Wrangler that I did a number of mods to. It just wasn't big enough for me and my family. We sold it before we moved back to the east coast.

It didn't take long to get the itch to go exploring again. So we traded in my Grand Cherokee and got a Gladiator.

Its already lifted with 35's, so that helps. Planning on going to see family soon and we're going to go drive part of the MABDR. Once we inventory our gear, we're going to build from there. Really considering a half rack and roof top tent.
Welcome to Overland Bound
The Gladiator has been called the Swiss Army Knife of overlanding, have fun with your build.

Location: South of France (via most of Australia and California)
Rig: 2004 Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 DiD (LWB Gen 3 Montero with a diesel engine if you're not familiar)
Experience: It's been a while since I've done any truly 'vehicle dependent travel'. I used to own a Landcruiser Troopy that I drove all over Australia, but that was two decades ago. My wife and I hike, backpack and camp a lot, so we're using our vehicle as both an overlander, and as a base station for multi-day treks, or multiple day hikes from a central location. We are building out our Pajero for a combination of on and off-road travel throughout Europe, West Asia & North Africa.

thanks Kent! I have kinda been overlanding when I lived in the Rockies but always just thought of them as extended off-roading trips with little focus on camping.
My official overland trip I’m hoping is finding a route on the Georgia adventure trail on my way to
Florida.
Nice meeting you

Patrick

Greetings everyone. Can't wait to start digging into the info on this board. Already learned a ton from the Overland Bound youtube channel as well as from other great producers in the community. Can't wait to get out and do some more exploring and trying to plan a cross country trip to some National Parks. Rig is 2020 4Runner ORP White. Hoping for much more to and from this truck than I did with my 2014 Trail before I got rid of it. So far just a Toytec leveling kit with BFG KO2's 285/70/17. In the works are some Baja fogs (and some other lights with no where to mount yet but thats another story). I'm in WNC and would love to link up with some folks for some learning and fire road, etc drives. I'll update with some pics soon. Cheers
We have a Rally Point going off next weekend in Hooiser National if your interested....check Rally Point....Dirty Derby 2.0

Hello everyone!

I'm from Chapada dos Guimaraes, Central Brazil.

My vehicle is a 2005 Nissan XTerra SE. In Brazil, we only have the first-gen and only in the diesel version.

We (wife, myself and a female Lab) are going to live in Canada, and decided to make it an overlanding trip. We'll first go from central Brazil to Ushuaia, and then, up to Canada.

There is still a lot to be done in terms of the rig, but we'll get there :D

Cheers!photo_2020-08-07_19-08-22.jpg20200524_103941.jpg

New to overlanding. Have done two trips with Central Appalachian Mountain Overland. One through half of the MABDR and the other through DBBB. I’m located in southern WV. My current rig is a 97 Mitsubishi Montero.

Good Morning Y’all
Traxx (Carl) here checking in from Ft Worth, Tejas.
I am driving a 2020 F-150 SCREW FX4 or Harley Electra Glide.
Been camping on and off since I was knee hi to a crawfish. Had a few years camping out of a TJ Rubicon, then a GS and now to a Pickup or HD.
I found this place looking for build ideas for the F-150 and liked the tone of the place.
In the next few months I’ll be looking to loop south to Big Bend and surrounding areas. As I travel I will be looking through the load out checking out what works and what doesn’t.
No big build here, I like low key and daily drivable.274E0EAD-00CA-4BFF-848D-42C50AA333D8.jpeg

Deciding between 2016 Edge Sport and 2015 Sienna AWD for most of my adventures
Trying to figure out which would be more ideal for starting my overland journey. I realize neither is very offroad capable but do pretty well on gravel/light sand terrain
Figure this site would be a great place to start!
