Hi Overland Bound,
My name is Greg and my wife is Candy. We live in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA (south of Los Angles). We drive a 2017 Wrangler Rubicon 2 door. It's has a 2-1/2" lift on 35's. I pull a So Cal Teardrop trailer. We have been off roading for a little over 4 years. I finally decided to join OB after watch all of the YouTube videos Michael has been posting since COVID-19 started.

Hi folks, My name is Jacob. My wife and I are looking to start some overlanding trips so I thought I'd sign up and start getting the lay of the land.
We're out of Central OK, and currently don't have much in the way of a vehicle, so thats one of the things I'll be researching.
We've been looking at getting a fullsize 4x4 diesel truck since it can pull multi duty and still have enough room to fit the whole family. Not agile for trails, but it would get us moving in comfort. Any feedback is of course more than welcome!

My current "rig" for overland :

New from Idaho. We have been kicking around in a 2018 F250, with a Honda pioneer for rougher trails. Just started building a 2000 E350 so we can do it all (well, all we want to) with one vehicle. The plan is a 20" Fiberine top and 4x4 conversion. So far all I have got done is getting the floor ready for spray liner, insulation, etc. Going to complete that project this weekend, if the weather cooperates.

I'm a little experienced, started with a Jeep Comanche in '87. Ran around Cripple Creek and Victor Colorado every weekend. I've had some kind of 4x4 ever since.

Looking forward to the journey.

Hi everyone, I'm Mike from SE Washington. I've had this 4runner since January, and have been doing mods as I can. 2" lift (Bilstien5100/OME springs) Diff Drop, swaybar links. Custom fab'd rear bumper with dual swingout. 4xinnovations Front Bumper has been ordered.
I've owned 4x4s all my life, but have usually dragged a large travel trailer out to the mountains for camping. Smaller, agile trucks haven't been on my radar till now. Not sure I'll spring for a RTT, a cot and 3-season tent seem to work just fine.
Paring down a travel trailer's worth of camping gear has been a challenge.
Sarge (my 6mo Golden Retriever) and I are having a blast, so far.

2002 SR5 with over 268k miles.
Hey Mike! Super stoked to have another Tri-Cities member. As @MRose already mentioned, go introduce yourself in the Tri-Cities Club House. We have a a lot of great members with a lot of various talents, and projects.

Howdy! Been lurking on the OB YouTube channel for a good long while and it finally dawned on me that I should've already signed up! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys on the trail (or anywhere, for that matter)!

Picked up my '00 4Runner from a guy last year that had every intention on doing what I am now, but had too big of a family for this truck to work. I'm no stranger to the outdoors, but this is my first go at a vehicle-based setup. My girl and I are new to the PNW from FL as of last May and haven't had much of a chance to get out until now. Any advice is more the welcomed, as my off-road experience has primarily been with 4wheelers, dirt bikes, and MTB's.

Hello! My name is Eric Kelley
I have been overlanding for about 10 years now, my first rig was a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I’m finally upgrading and recently placed my order on a new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. I’m located in Los Angeles, CA. I’m looking forward to being a part of the community here in the forums and making some new friends here as well as on the trails.

Good evening all,
I'm currently posted to Ottawa, ON, and just getting back into camping/overlanding.
Currently I drive a Hyundai Kona, which is surprisingly capable in the snow, while obviously not a off-road vehicle.
I ended up here after spending a lot of time online looking at camping/overland videos while in self-isolation.
Glad to be a part of the community, and looking forward to learning a lot.
