KG4EVV... BUT... it expired years and years ago. At the time I was a Tech No-Code. I don't think that's a thing anymore. I guess I'll need to study up and go get my ticket again.

N4WIL here. Usually monitoring FM & YSF on Big Mtn 146.625 131.8. Also on FT8, JS8Call, Winlink and phone on 20 & 40 meters. Some digital work on 80 but my current antenna won't tune on the phone portion.

Everyone who has taken any level of test after Feb 2007 is a "no coder" despised by the old timers.
I have a few "old timers" that give me shit for not knowing code but as far as I know in the 2 clubs I belong to nobody despises me for being a "no code". They may well not like me for other reasons but thats not once of them.

I realize that but a lot of people interested in becoming a Ham believe that. My club is getting ready to start a technician class and out of 7 students 3 asked me if the "old Hams" would hate them.
