    Pandemic Purchases....aka "Retail Therapy"

No they aren't telescopic, it would be nice but for the 2 times I've used it it hasn't been an issue. I recommend getting a couple of cheap nylon rain fly/shade tarps to attach for walls, it made a huge difference when it was cold and a little windy for us. We had the fire going at the open...

    Pandemic Purchases....aka "Retail Therapy"

Thanks, it was actually a last minute purchase before rolling out of town when we saw there was going to be rain. Have to say I've been pretty pleased with it for something I bought by chance, if I remember the price wasn't to bad. Ordered it online from Sportsman Warehouse and picked up in...

Cascades Trip! @PNW EXPLR and I have been kicking around the idea of a weekend trip over to the Cascades for some camping and exploring. We don't have all the details hammered out yet but we are planning for the weekend of 8/1 arriving that Thursday afternoon/evening. It will be a base camp...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

From what I hear, since the new road went in it is always packed out there. I'm up and down the kahlotus highway all day and starting mid day Thursday it is nonstop campers and pickups with bikes until Sunday night. I know a group of guys that used to deer hunt out there but since the road went...

    Pandemic Purchases....aka "Retail Therapy"

I'm a little late to seeing this post, but I have a similar awning made by Slumber Jack called the Roadhouse and they're great. We were camping Memorial day weekend and had light rain on and off the whole time with temps ranging from 30's-60's and a steady wind in the evenings. Set it up so...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I drive by Juniper at least twice a day (our farm is out past it) but haven't been out there in probably 20 years. I haven't even gone down the new road they put in to the entrance, might have to drive down there today just to check it out.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I didn't run it myself, but a guy I was camping with the weekend of the 4th went home that way and said it wasn't too bad. Sounds like there is mud in a few places but there is a bypass around the worst of it. You can make it to Table Rock from the south but not too far past as there was still...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Looks like you guys make some good runs. Selah isn't too far from the Tri Cities, if your group is ok with a tag along let me know when you head out sometime...as long they don't mind a soccer mom Grand Cherokee

Bingham road is totally washed out not too far past that. We came from the top down, there was 4 slides we made it over before turning around, met a 4 runner that told us the road was gone. The road down is pretty crappy, slow and rocky then we hit the slides.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Here's some pics of my week up in the woods. We spent 7/2-7/6 in the Blues, first few nights above Lake Jubilee then moved to the west of Elgin near Ruckle junction and the last day was spent a ways south of there. We loaded the camper and got the Jeep fixed up on Tuesday and head for the...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Thanks, not my first choice for trail runs but it works. Definitely got some new scratches this trip. Sounds like kendall skyline is now open from Tollgate to table rock. We were camped up above Jubilee and when my buddy left on Sunday he took it north and came out at Walla Walla. He said...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Have fun out on the water, it's getting to be the time of year where a boat would be nice but I think my wife would shoot me if I bought anymore toys!

Rimrock and Clear lake are nice, where are you guys camping? I'm just loading the trailer to head up to little naches, not too far from there. Once the trailer is ready to go I'll get the jeep fixed and bring it up as well.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I found the squeak we were hearing on the run up to Little Bald Mountain. I somehow stretched the straps that hold my U joint into the rear pinion yoke and the caps were spinning, so far doesn't look like any major damage but I'll check it out today. I was a dummy and forgot about it until I...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I just spent a few days up above Jubilee Lake at Timothy Springs before moving SW. Unfortunately I was in my 1 ton so I was a little limited on the trail I could run but I dropped some waypoints for trails I want to go back and check out.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I'm doing pretty awesome actually, just got home from 5 days in the Blues. We're going to get repacked and head to the Cascades for another 5 days. While up there I'll do a little scouting, any areas you want me to check conditions on? How have you and the Fam been? Nice being back I'm sure.

US Northwest June 2020 WABDR - Washington Backcountry Discovery Route

Talbotdw This this picture on Bethel ridge at the about the last good mud hole? If so, it's the same spot where I tore off a valve stem on my first run through there.
