2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Build

I really like the xerofab rear bumper. I just got the trail forged stubby front and plan to build wings out of tube for it, something that would match the xerofab rear. Excited to see how your build turns out, 6" and 35's is where I want to end up but working on all the other stuff first...

    Just another WJ

And this is what has kicked my butt back in gear to get this back on the road.... Trail Forged Stubby front bumper and high clearance rad. support! I didn't order any wings with it because I plan to build my own out of tube. Once the WJ is at the shop I'll start my fab projects which include...

    Just another WJ

So I kind of forgot I had started a build thread for this. But that isn't too important since it's not fully back together yet, working on my house is taking up a lot of my time and winter/spring was busier at work than I had expected. So since my last update.....3 months ago, I have gotten...

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Build

Personally i think a 35" is perfect for a WJ. What will you be running for lift and how much do you plan to trim from the fenders? Also are you planning for aftermarket bumpers or keep as much of the stock ones as you can?

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Big cam 400. Lost the chrome on a cam lobe, but my guys didn't find it until after they screwed up a valve adjustment and bent a push rod.... has reman heads for it and cylinders look good just needs a new cam and do the lower end bearings while it's out. We had a spare motor we put in the...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Got home a little early from work yesterday, but didn't work on anything just spent the time cleaning up some of my mess in the garage and moving parts that won't go back on the WJ out to the shed. But I did get some gifts from the UPS man! Now the fire has been rekindled to get this thing...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Trail Forged bumper has finally shipped! Apparently they are in the middle of moving and setting up a new shop so between that and the current state of the apocalypse they were a bit slow getting it out the door. I got my radiator shroud formed to clear the fan so I can bolt the radiator in...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

it would be a real PITA to change them all out, but if the harness is already out it would be good insurance to do them now rather than relying on 30+ year old connectors. Not only would you have a better sealed connectors but as long as you got everything together good it would cut down on the...

Isn't wiring fun?? Just an idea, but if you already have to redo the pins on one side of the connector would you be better off replacing both sides with some Deutsch or JD connectors? It's a little more time but you would end up with new stuff that is a better protected from the elements.

RAM 2500 Custom Overland Build, RTT Rack, Aux Batt, Transfer Tank, Sliders & Other Stuff!

Just saw this mount on another site, if I had more stuff going on in my Ram I might think about getting one. Looks like it's built well and would be pretty handy for mounting accessories...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Once I get the WJ back together and a few shake down miles on it we should plan something for the green dot roads around Vantage, either do it as a meet up or go for a day run up there. I've been going back a forth from the green dot maps and Gaia to plot some routes. I found a route coming in...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Not too much has gotten done since we started planting. Got the trans filters changed, still working on what i want to do for the lines/cooler/gauge. I got the radiator in to test fit and the bigger fan hits the shroud a little so I need to hit it with the heat gun and make a little clearance...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Did my best to social distance today! Took a drive up to the feathers/ancient lakes to check it out, been by there a bunch going to concerts at the Gorge and didn't even know what was over there. The couple of camping areas along the road going down to the river were actually pretty crowded...

I really think you should go for the bling factor and have it chrome plated

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Can't stop, Won't stop! It's tough to put the brakes on farming, not much of it we can do from home (if anyone is short on potatoes and onions I got you covered). At the moment we're still doing good and business as usual just trying to stay away from people, my wives work is partially shut down...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

That could be pretty sweet, build it out with a bed rack and rtt. 3k for the kit isn't too depending on how complete it is.

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Anyone have have thoughts on a meet up for this month? @JL Lou and @garrett.goodwin4320 sounds like you guys have things going on the weekends, when would you guys be free this month? Would people be interested in an over night trip? With snow still in the mountains there isn't a lot of places...

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

Almost Back together! I might actually have it together and running some time soon, progress came to a grinding stop last night because at some point in it's torn apart state I seem to have lost one of the radiator bushings. Temporary hold up, but outside of that I have everything else I need...

    PNW Bunny Trails

There is a lot in that area, but you wouldn't be able to get to many of them this time of year. Depending on spring time temps early June is when most of the snow should be gone. There is still places to camp before then in the lower elevations around there, the places I like are just a bit...
