That's a nice 4runner, I had an '86 I sold just before I started build my WJ. Wish I would have kept it but the driveway was getting a little full of rigs and thought the cash would help fund a new build.

the KO2 is a great tire but they are pricey. I think the Maxxis Razr M/T performs really well in mud, snow and rocks and is really quiet for what it is. Plus the price is tough to pass up.

Tires are one of those things that everyone has had different experiences and opinions so get what you like and what works best for YOU. Don't fall into the hype of certain tires because it's what everyone else is using, pick something that is on point for what you plan to do. I'll probably...

For me this is a loaded question with no right answer since like you say everything is based on what you plan to do with the vehicle. No matter what tire you choose you will be sacrificing performance in some area, I'm yet to find that perfect tire that performs everywhere 100%. On the the farm...

Let me know on the tires, I do have a 5th one the same size for a spare but it's a goodyear duratrac at about 50% life. I really like the tires, I just went bigger with the same thing and don't have a need for these ones.
