    exploring the yukon and alaska

If you're passing through Alberta/BC, I highly recommend backroad mapbooks. They're region specific, e.g Northern Alberta, Kootenay Rockies etc... but have 1:250 000 scaling, and are pretty comprehensive, with plenty of logging/oil roads marked, as well as some general driving distances. Hope...

If you could change/re-do one modification

I've got the same problem. I really like them, I find them useful, but at the same time I'm worried they're gonna get flat out destroyed one of these days.

    Rig Names

I named my truck "Kev", because my cousin saw the tires said Kevlar (Goodyear All-terrain) on the side, and asked if the cloth on the seats was Kevlar. The name just stuck now.

Off-Road Lighting... What do you run? Why?

I'm running Rigid 20" E2 Combo, which I mainly chose due to durability/high quality, and because I'd rather have something more expensive than take the risk that it breaks. I absolutely love it, the beam shoots over 800 m, and it lights up the roads really well. I'm considering mounting Rigid...

    Opinions plz :)

I think bed drawers underneath the mattress could be cool and functional, something like this rig from Bone Tactical. It really depends on what you want to have in there, in my rig I've got recovery gear/cooking gear on one side of the back of the bed, then on the other side I've got a toolbox...

    General Trip Planning

I always start with at least a vague idea of where I want to go, followed by a quick Google Maps overview of the fastest way to get there. This is usually just to get an idea of what major highways will get me there, and to also get an idea as to nearby towns/cities etc... I follow this up by...

    Overland Drowned...

Holy mackerel... that's a good chunk of rain. Up here we're just supposed to get snow and -25 C for the next few days, I don't think I'd mind the rain ;)

    Super Important Question...

I would definitely say below. You've got to avoid getting the centre of gravity too high.

    Video Recording & Editing questions

Honestly for most basic editing, it isn't that hard to pick up. I highly recommend the Adobe Premiere Pro tutorials, and just general Youtube videos. It takes a little bit of practice, but it's definitely easier in my opinion to become quite competent in Premiere Pro vs Photoshop.

    Video Recording & Editing questions

For editing I use Adobe Premiere Pro. It's relatively pricy, but it is an amazing editing tool. I have not recorded any overlanding trips, but have used it with great success in videos for work.

    Camp stoves

That's a great idea! Thank you! I never even considered that. I'll have to test it out and bring back some photos of how it works.

    Camp stoves

Hello! I have several cans of jellied ethanol, and I was wondering where one can get stoves that would fit them? I have a stove that's currently being used as a fondue heater, however I don't really want to bring it overlanding with me. Does anyone know where you can buy something similar...

Here's one from Waiparous, earlier in the year before I got the bumper on.
