Mods: Getting some bed lights installed, and maybe a 2" lift + tires; haven't decided which tires yet, any input is much appreciated :). Travel: Going to Minneapolis to visit family in May, then in June doing the whole Forestry Trunk Road loop, and in August driving to Sooke to go salmon fishing.

Hmm.. that's interesting that they wouldn't fit. In that case I would definitely say visit your local 4x4 shop and see if they can help you out. Are they willing to consider a lift?

My quirk is that the transmission on the Canyon's is notoriously bad. You press the gas pedal, the revs jump, but there is a 1 second delay until you actually go anywhere. You get used to it after a while, but its kind of annoying. A much more minor quirk is that the tonneau cover won't close...

Just started hunting a couple years ago, mostly whitetail up in Northern Alberta. I plan to start rabbit hunting in March, as in my mind there's nothing like a nice rabbit stew to warm you up. What caliber does everyone shoot? I run 7mm-08 Remington.
