    Overlanding is not Elitist!

Uh, sir, thats because you drive a modified Volvo wagon.... it's doesn't get much cooler than that. ;)

    Am I getting old?

Naw, I'm with you. I can you though that I really want larger tires. The 32" tires on my truck just look out of place. 34.25" fit with zero issues and 35x12.5 fit with minimal inner fender liner trimming. Suspension wise... i'm golden. I did up the initial cost of investment and bought...

Anyone left? I know I had a friend in my group from Facebook that was planning on being there today around 10AM to wheel.

    Overlanding is not Elitist!

Good point. The majority isn't bad, it's when the "off roaders" get mixed in with the crowd. I run an overlanding group and we've gotten our fair share of "off roaders" in the group who believe if you dont have a built rig and hit the ORP every month then you aren't shit. I of course always...

    OB Watches

I dont typically wear watches much anymore. I've worn metal, leather, nylon, and rubber bands on them and they always seem to break my wrist out. Typically get a rash around my wrist (part of wear from the band and the profuse sweating that I endure). Currently wearing a Fitbit Surge watch...

    Tents

You gotta remember as well that most of these sub $1200 tents are all built in the same 3 or 4 factories in China.

    2017 Toyota 4runner

Fyi, if you want Quicksand, that is currently exclusive to the TRD Pro model. It might become a standard color down the road, but currently it is not. Don't worry about the power of the 4.0. I drive a Tundra with the 5.7 and when we picked my wifes 16 TRD Pro I felt the same way. I just had...

    2017 Toyota 4runner

Nothing new revamped atm for the 2017 model year. If there was going to be something we most likely would've heard it by now. I personally suggest the Trail edition or if you just have to have KDSS then get the TE Premium.

    Traction Mats And Thier Uses

Yep. Really the only downside to these boards is that they don't nest together like Maxtrax or Treads. Makes it a bit more difficult to store versus others and you can't stack them for bridging.

    Looking for Work/Camp/Hike Boots

Do you need a steel/composite toe for work? I'm currently wearing the Keen Targhee II Mid and they've been great so far. I've only had them for about 6 months so far, but I've trekked through a lot of water crossing and I've put around 200 miles of hiking on them. Super comfortable. I also...
