Looks great bro! That's pretty hard core doin it an old buzz box!
You've seen some of my stuff... I prefer an older rig that has some blemishes. Ya wouldn't be cutting up and welding and pushing screws into a 2017 fj ya know what I mean? Good work man. I'll be doing my front bumper pretty soon...
Swapped out the old holley 600 for my newly reconditioned 750 cfm truck avenger style off-road carburetor. FYI if you want a truck carb and only have one for the street all ya need is offroad needle and seats and a cross over tube so ya don't flood out on gnarly off camber trails.
cross over...
Bed liner is not a bad idea but before applying it there needs to be a good base. Bed liner directly on bare metal will not inhibit rust... it will bubble right through.
I'd also recommend a wire wheel that you can insert into your drill. I used wire wheels much more than sand paper on the...
Very cool! I love the rtt on the teardrop trailer! I'm guessing that the kids go upstairs while mom and pop are in the teardrop?

Haha, yeah me neither. RV camping is hardly roughing it. Lol.

We camped down Bessemer mine Rd out near soggy dry lake... what a nightmare! It was like 30 minutes one way to get to Boone rd. And another 15 to get any of the runs. Never again! My friends wanted to avoid the crowds but c'mon!
We're looking forward to going every year from now on.
We're...
Yes, both! I've been to the last 2 King of the Hammers and shooting a few times besides... we do a boy scouts camp at calico every other year. I love both places!

Thanks... yeah we've had 4 burbs over the years. Besides the one pictured my favorite was a 95 2500... although those square bodies are pretty killer!

Oh yeah, awesome rig btw! One of my near future plans is to fab up a roof rack and get a rtt.

Same here... I went with an old Suburban to avoid all the electronics and complicated design that make cars hard to repair in a pinch. Plus I have a big family so I needed the space. My rig fits the bill.
It has become my daily driver and it stays loaded with tools water and food... and other...

you can't tell because the front seats are all the way back but there is tons of leg room there. The front seats are back about 4 inches from the factory location.
that's definitely not a gun safe under the center section of the front seat.
I put the speakers in the walls because they...
I have 2 sets of front bucket seats that came out of two 2001 Silverados for the front and the center seats. The third row is a set of 50/50 seats from an 06 Tahoe. All 3 rows have the belts that come out of the shoulder of the seat so no belts hanging down from the ceiling. The second row is...
