Clear as mud! Lol! [emoji6] no, I get it, it's a good plan. I drive my truck almost daily and as I add more stuff to it, it obviously get heavier and harder on the gas bill so my thinking is that I can sorta have the best of both worlds if I make it removable. I can gear up when goin on a trip...
Welcome! You have chosen wisely. [emoji6]good to have another member close by. I don't know of any local, regular meet ups and I'm considering starting one. There used to be one at the bass pro shop in Rancho and I can't think of a better spot except maybe REI.
Anyhow, I look forward to...
He is. His mounts go into the square tube that is parallel to his bumper. It looks like a 3 piece mount so he can slide it all apart and be right back to stock if he so chooses.
It's not what I plan to do but I've never seen one done that way so I thought I'd share.
I have an issue with...
Haha. I used that stuff on my rig too! It's exactly the same stuff as fat mat or dynamat. Although technically not rated for the heat. I used some actual automotive sound mat above the hot areas of the floor, like above the transmission and exhaust system just in case, everywhere else I used...

I'm just curious about people's experience with rtt's I'm considering getting one but I'm not sure.
For those of you who have one and use it regularly can you share your thoughts on it?
I'm in an old suburban and have room to sleep inside my rig but to do it I have to unload almost all of my...
