This evening I reassembled my np203 range box in preparation to build my doubler. I'm waiting on a few more parts to complete the actual doubler, then I'll figure out my shifting linkage and the all important 4l80e rebuild. It's getting closer and closer!

I watched this series on amazon. I liked it although there were some kinda cheesy parts and it's a competition so it's not exactly inline with the OB core principles.

I'm no expert but I have had good luck by first getting all the rust cleaned up, wipe everything down with some acetone to get rid of any residue, dust or oils (be fast, it will eat up surrounding paint) and use some kind of etching... Rust-Oleum sales self etching primer that seems to work...
That's cool. I have about half a dozen nice local trails but nothing with water except for under the Van Buren bridge (a main thoroughfare near me) but that's more of a hobo village that offroad area.
I had to stop and air down to get out of that spot... there's deep sand all around that...
