5th gen T4R build. Ditched Jeep after 26yrs!

It's probably pretty smart to hold onto the last real Jeep, Jeep ever made.

    North Carolina

I heard this is now closed to public use due to overuse and trail destruction...Have not personally confirmed. Also heard the forest service is handing out tickets and has cameras setup. Again, not confirmed.

What is your preferred shelter? (Rooftop Tent vs Ground Tent vs Etc...)

I have a double wide Eno hammock and can sleep on my side with it. Every time I get in the thing it takes about 5 minutes and I can't keep my eyes open. Great way to take a nap.

Truck Camper Recommendations. Asking for a friend. Please help.

I would look at the new 7.3 liter Ford gas F250. For the camper the new Four Wheel Camper Project M top is going to be very versatile. Also the new tops from AT Overland look the same. These style of tops allow your truck to be used as a truck when needed and still have a comfortable place...

    Georgia traverse trip

I have never done it but there have been several people who have done it with a trailer. As far as I know it's basically just forest service type roads, nothing difficult.

    Mr Buddy Heater Yes/No

12V blanket FTW. No need to spend all the money and brain power to fabricate things to your setup. Buy a 12V blanket and a few more regular blankets. Done.

    Recommendations

I have a aluminum hard shell RTT. It is the entire length of the vehicles roof. I needed a full length roof rack to mount it. The rack mounts to the factory rack bolt locations and then has "feet" for the very front part of the rack so it's a no drill rack. The point is this RTT is not being...

    Recommendations

I'm gonna disagree, I think it depends on what vehicle you have. I have a 4Runner. No way I am going to mount my 170lb aluminum RTT to load bars that hook onto the edge of my door openings..no, I need a full roof rack. If my vehicle had drip rails than yes I agree. IMO the only way I...

    Beach Camping

Yeah that annual pass sounds like a really good deal if you live close and go often.

    Beach Camping

Couldn't find the info so I am guessing you need a day pass and then the $50 a night to camp. Getting expensive.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

It's not exclusive to Jeeps. When I had a Jeep I took the carpet out so I could pop the drain plugs and just hose it out. That was a TJ, so easy. Now I have 4Runner and i wish it had that option. Or at least a vinyl floor option.
