CSI 52Qt Fridge/Freezer and Cover Combo $459.95 Free Shipping
Not any of the models you listed but is modeled after the old ARB and also has a Danfoss compressor. A heck of a deal IMO with the slide and cover included for $652.95
The Dragon is fun on a bike....until the Sherriff starts camping out on it and pulls you for doing 3 mph over the speed limit. But better than being on the tree of shame.
Any more details on which panel you used? I have heard these flex type panels do not last very long, sometimes less than a year, did you experience any durability issues with your panel?
Check out the Smokey Mountains National Park. You will be right there. Lots to do and see. Has camping also. Cades Cove which is in the Park is nice also but can get crowded. Catalootchee Valley to see the elk. Then of course Asheville, NC for beer.
But the last two suggestions...
That's all well and good if the log is laying on the ground. If it's 4 feet off the ground and trapped in between other trees the only way is to cut it or turn back.
I think it's another Toyota rip off marketing scheme like all the other PRO appearance packages. Just get the regular Sequoia and build it if that is the foundation you want to go with.
It would be great for that trip. No wood to worry about, just fill your propane tanks when in town resupplying. I have the outland fire bowl brand. If you run it on low the propane lasts a long time. Here it is on the deck. There may be other brands that are more compact but this thing has...
It's not the smallest thing to pack especially considering you also have to bring the propane tank with you. It is light weight. As mentioned I only bring it when I can't have a real fire or if I'm lazy so I keep it in the original box which has held up surprisingly well after a year. The...
I have that exact one you posted a pic of. Some might think it's stupid but having a fire during burn bans or in areas that don't allow fires has been invaluable. It's definitely not the same as sitting around a real fire but it's better than staring at the dirt and you can still make Smores...
I carry a Stihl Farmboss with a 20" blade. Does everything I need it to do. I carry it in a chain saw box I obtained from Northern Tool. The box is kind of big but it holds extra fuel and oil and you cannot smell anything in the vehicle. I have thought about slimming down and getting an...
After paying so much for this thing I will never get rid of my RTT unless it gets stolen but I didn't buy the tent for "the gram" or "overlanding." My son plays collegiate baseball and the cost of hotels were killing my wallet. ( single dad two kids in college) I spent half the last...
I agree with your views on "traditional" roof top tents. The set up and take down is simply not worth it IMO. I specifically picked a tent that would go up faster than putting the vehicle in park, turning it off, and walking to the back of the vehicle. An it stows away just about as fast...
I actually value your opinion, so thank you. I know maps and trails get updated and plugging something in for an update is way easier than what it seems you have to do now.... I guess my post was more of a rant than anything at the frustration of finding a nationwide all encompassing GPS...
I am not very tech savvy and honestly I don't really want to put in a lot of effort on GPS, mapping, etc...Basically I am lazy or would just like to take off and enjoy the trip. So the GPS situation is about the most frustrating thing I have at the moment. I don't understand why they cannot...
