I let the dealer change it the first two years since it was free..Toyota thing. In that time, the first change they overfilled it. I didn't take it back and released some oil when I got home. The next one was ok since I mentioned the overfilling when I took it in, but whoever changed it...
I really doubt that OEM Fox shocks are of the same quality as the aftermarket Fox shocks. Maybe I am wrong but even when the TRD suspension said Bilstein on them, they were not the same quality as the aftermarket Bilsteins and wore out rather quickly. One thing Toyota is consistent with is...
You don't have to go crazy but you did pay a premium for the PRO suspension. Maybe you can sell it and recoup some money if you decide to go aftermarket... Here is what I went with...
-Eibach PRO kit with 8295 OME rear springs for carrying 500 lbs daily- has factory rake
-Durobump bumpstops...
Congrats and it's your money but again I couldn't get past icon's past and they will never see any of my money.....you have a very nice truck. Look forward to pics of you using it when you get back. Be safe.
Trail Edition....still have about $3K to spend before getting to the dealer quoted price I got when shopping the 2016 TRD PRO. Got this one for $35k out the door. Well below MSRP. Same vehicle, now with better everything. YMMV.

I...
How mobil do you want to be?
How comfortable do you want to be?
Is it just you or do you have someone with you?
Where do you want to explore? In other words, Jeep trails or forest service roads?
I have narrowed it down to three options for myself...
Full size base model F350 with 7.3 gas...
Again, sorry to trigger you but you are essentially wrong. There are no driveline differences, but you knew that right??? I mentioned the shocks. The other models come with skid plates also. Aluminum vs steel. Not worth thousands of dollars. With the 4Runner(an probably all the models)...
Wrong. This is always a hot button item on forums and I really don't understand why this triggers some people so much?? Not trying to trigger anyone here but facts are facts... The PRO packages are essentially appearance packages with the exception of the shocks...which is still not the best...
SHHHHHH! You were not supposed to mention the funnest road in the area! Must be kept on the DL so most remain on the dragon. Definitely do not mention Tellico Kat's for the best sandwiches In the area, oops
