LOL! Yeah, we weren't sure if the local coyotes were friendly or not.
(that's just a camo pocket vest with pockets too small for him to actually carry any of MY stuff)
My Infrastructure Development Board is considering a few conveniences that may or may not be added. Wells and cisterns are possible. It's 38 acres which puts me in a favorable zoning situation should I decide to have a well dug. I'd like to keep it pretty low key though.
Most people buy Corvettes or plastic surgery for their midlife crisis. I bought some land. Raw, undeveloped, kind-of-far-away scrubland somewhere south of Wyoming.
Can I do a build thread on making my own little area for "overland related activities?"
There's no camping without a proper fire...
When I had my TJ I made my own out of big stainless clevises, a couple washers, and cotter pins. Just replaced the bolt with it. Wasn't grade 8 but I ran it for 2 years with no issues at all... That was a long time ago. YMMV
Me too! Me too! Got my call sign / license last week, and Midland MXT275 with a pair of XTalks as well. WRNF641.

I keep looking at this D1 because the pics make it look SOOO clean. It's been listed for a while now. Price is high IMHO, but it's intriguing from the "1 owner, lots of maintenance" perspective.

Hell yes to that Chief! And WJs are the best Grand Cherokee of all. And highly underrated trail rigs... Every bit as good, if not better, than any Jeep of the last 15 years. But let's keep that between us so they don't get into XJ levels of used pricing. :D
Here's a little camp spot we snagged on Buffalo Pass last weekend. We had a few visitors including a huge, beautiful red fox, a couple people in a Discovery stopping to share a beer and a sunset view, and then a couple in a Wrangler who needed a spot to crash. It was crowded this weekend so we...
