    First Aid Kit - Boxes/Containers/Etc...

Perfect that was where I was going with this post. I want to make sure it is quickly accessible but also plentiful with the need to haves like gauze, tape Dermabond, and antiseptics. I think the tool pouch and ammo can combo might work perfectly. I was looking at the MTM boxes instead of the...

    First Aid Kit - Boxes/Containers/Etc...

So you probably guessed that if someone starts asking about First Aid kits something bad has happened. You guessed right. I slashed (4 inches) the outside part of my leg about 9 inches above your ankle on a ride. It was a nice one. I had to butterfly the cut shut with some tape and had to rap...

    Planning a trip to Moab

So first thank you for all the help. I have changed up my itinerary a bit due to the incredible winter Colorado is having. ALSO some of you folks have helped educate the now Floridian who never thought there would be snow in June!! Just seems crazy but it puts the elevation in perspective. It...

Tires - Road Comfort vs Trail Performance

SO to add to your paralyzing tire dilemma... I am Running Maxxis Razor 35’s on my Jeep JKU. I like them a lot! I am driving from Tampa FL to Moab in June with a soft top. Yes they are NOT AT quiet but they are MT quiet. They also have very little to no MT wander. My daughters Grand Cherokee WJ...

First Drive out west (MOAB etc) Suggestions to keep me married

That was going to be my next question. East coast wheeling is much different than west coast wheeling in some cases. Any and all suggestions are welcome. I just ordered a new rear drive shaft and some extra control arm joints for spares as well. Things are starting to come together. We will be...

First Drive out west (MOAB etc) Suggestions to keep me married

Thanks for the correction. Black Bear Pass. I think you are right on with that comment. It is on the list of to do's but maybe Imogene Pass and Annimos Forks ghost town is more family friendly.

First Drive out west (MOAB etc) Suggestions to keep me married

Just like the title says. The first two weeks of JUNE 2019 my family and I (2 girls 17 and 15 and my wife) are driving out to first Colorado and then to Moab. We are driving from Palm Harbor FL and wanted to get some input on, well, everything. The big things the little things and everything...

    Planning a trip to Moab

I will be doing the same. We are thinking the first 2 weeks of June. We are driving out from Tampa FL. The whole family. We will be seeing the sites as well but I want to get some of the EPIC Moab trails, Imogene pass, and many of the sties within about 3 hours of MOAB. I just started my...

JK Wrangler Owner Looking to Switch to 4Runner TRD Off-Road

I hear you. My GC has 190k. The new Grand Cherokee is not as large as the FR but much nicer inside. If you want little bigger vehicle go FR. But the reliability thing in my experience has been great. The after market is also in favor of the FR

JK Wrangler Owner Looking to Switch to 4Runner TRD Off-Road

I have been a “Jeep guy, Porsche guy, VW guy, Chevy and Ford guy” heck I just like things I can tinker with. Do not fall into the fanboy Jeep Toyota etc. They are both great vehicles. The new JL and a new FR can be similar and so different. Both at 40k plus neither are cheap. It is all in how...

    2019 Tacoma TRD Pro

I am not here to stop you however there are some better used deals out there. But it is nice to have a nice new shiny truck. Write out realistically what you want the truck to do. Then write out what you will need to start to do it. Most of the time this will lead you down the right path. The...
