Didn't go overland this weekend, I went underland...

Hah, how exactly did that happen?

    Veterans Rally

JBLM, not too far from you. I've been here for just under a year. Before this I was in Arizona, and before that I spent a few years at the illustrious Ft. Drum in NY.

    Veterans Rally

I could be interested, depending on location. Currently serving in the Army.

2014 Xterra Pro-4x Build and Adventure Thread

Surgically attached to your left thigh? That could cause all sorts of hygiene issues, Steve.

    2006 Trailblazer

Love your TB man. Makes me miss my 06 TB. I was a member of OffroadTrailblazer back in the day and remember reading through your build there. Great trail photos, as well.

    Tillamook State Forest, Oregon

While the tents were set up, it was just raining as we were at a lower elevation. I wouldn't see any issue using a RTT in the snow, though. They're pretty sturdy with a rigid inner-framework.

The bumper looks great, Steve. Well worth the wait. My snorkel came in yesterday, so I'm primed and ready for install next weekend.

    Western Washington Meet Up?

@Truckerbizz Those spots looks good, man. I can't say for sure, but I've driven through most of that area so I've probably been up both if those FSRs. Most of it is cleared and logged, so the views from the hilltops are awesome.

    Western Washington Meet Up?

Fine with me. Although....if we're waiting until June, that opens up a few more options. Fortune Creek/Gallagher Head Lake, for example. This would be a good combination of an easy wheeling trail and a great camping location overlooking a mountain lake. Again, the I'm not opposed to sticking...

    Western Washington Meet Up?

Open as well, with the except of 13-15 May. Got another trip planned.

    Western Washington Meet Up?

That's my major consideration, as well. I planned to attend this originally without the wife, as she works weekends a lot my schedule is more flexible without her. Also, dispersed camping isn't her favorite:expressionless:

    Western Washington Meet Up?

For me it depends on whether my wife is working the weekend we choose to make the trip. If she's not working, she'll be coming with me. Regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to bring the family unit. Unless we want to make this a man-trip. Doing man-things. Driving trucks, wrestling bears, battling...

    Western Washington Meet Up?

I think it would be best to stick to the area around Lake Cushman. Just north of the lake is the Washington/Jefferson Pass region. Lots of service roads to explore through the hills, and we'd likely encounter some snow covered mountain roads for funsies. We could cut back to Brown Creek to camp...

    Western Washington Meet Up?

Any objections to the peninsula? I can't start scouting some routes, if this is the agreed upon location.
