    Glad I didnt venture out...but I am in desperste need of dirt on the tires and forest around me. Thanks for the pic. It also sucks...because we are supposed to be able to see the northern lights tonight...but not with these skies.

    Darn it. I thought Reading was further North...guess Loyalsock is not much closer. Once you get to Bald Eagle...you can drive right to Rothrock...i have information here about how the 2 connect. And Moshannon or The Pine Creek area also are close

    It is pouring in the area right now. Lots of water again...1 to 2 inches today

    @brewsky Rothrock and Bald eagle connect. Look at some of my other threads about it. I have shared the connection to Rothrock and Moshannon and Pine Creek area. If you can not find them let me know. I have lots of info about these 4 areas

    North Country (upper New York State)

    Last year here in PA vehicles were still stuck on forest roads on March...and this area in question is even Further north and Higher elevation. Just a heads up. Some winters the snow does not stay...others it never leaves.

    I have the cooks forest map and the Tuscarora map should be done soon. I already have a route through Tuscarora, just need the lizard map to verify. Cooks forest is kinda too touristy to me...but it is the gateway to the ANF. Sorry to the Michaux and Ohiopyle people...i got no interest in...
