Pennsylvania State Forests are 90% permit required at designated campsite only. It is free. 7 days maximum stay.

My original plan for my next area to explore was Tuscarora SF and Buchanan. Purple Lizards Tuscarora map is running a bit behind...and Buchanan is just in the opposite direction of most of my favorite places.
I do plan to get there for some camping and mapping...but it is not a priority.

My exploration is completely spur of the moment. But, I try to give a heads up when I got something planned.
Rothrock is my favorite forest. It has great motorized campsites and is 30 mins from home.
The scenery and natural attractions are awesome also. It is mostly your typical forest...
I got a chance to check out the ANF shown on the Purple Lizard Maps Cook Forest map.
Found some of the gates are seasonal(not yet sure what that means) and found some points of interest.
Marked down the campsites to check them out too.

Most trucks come standard with 18 inch wheels and 20 inch as the option now...and R18 tires are the most easiest to come by because of it.
Otherwise. Nothing wrong with staying with the 15 inch.
It is in Central Pennsylvania. Between Huntigdon and State College in the area of Rothrock Stste Forest.

So. This festival is very intriguing to me. Unfortunately I already had to select my vacation and have plans.
Looking at what it offers and it is a no brainer to attend for the full weekend. Looks like stopping for an hour or two is out...and it does seem you have to register...which never...
It was the event map that confused me. Then I noticed it has north to the right...rather than at top.
Yeah that is about 40 mins from me. If things work out and it is allowed. I hope to show up by a pass and check it out. If you have to register in advance...i am probably out...cause my life...
