Not sure where you are but these fellas make some tough bags for the OzTent range. I was a little disappointed in the factory bag not being weatherproof. https://www.drifta.com.au/product/drifta-bags-suit-oztent-rv/
I have a spark as well. The cord is a must. helps eliminate possible signal loss between phone and remote. It will say in the screen that it’s not supported but it works.
Learning in progress! Learning it all as I go. Apparently i’m to involved in enjoying everything I forget to record a lot. Missed some amazing stuff [emoji53]
Made a video of bits and pieces of the East Fork/Big lake trip. 90% of the time i’m too busy enjoying the outdoors to do video. I need to get better at that and flying the drone and overall planning out video ahead of time [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Man! if you haven’t been out to the east fork you have to go! Go to Big Lake and take the off highway route. Absolutely beautiful. The area is recovering nicely from the 2011 fires. You can see some more at our Instagram and Youtube @Providentpathfinders.
not at all. It may be wise to hold off on a toyota for a little bit. Apparently they recently got their diesel certified by EPA in us and apparently they have been testing turbo motors at their proving grounds in AZ. So add $10k to that TRD pro price tag for a diesel [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23].
You won’t miss a solid axle unless your doing more extreme trails. As for aftermarket support for a 5th gen? It’s only growing by leaps and bounds. Be advised our sad choice of motor in the USA for the 5th gen is a dog once you load up and add armor.
When people think of Arizona they immediately think cactus and desert. This state is quite diverse. These are out in the eastern part of the state in the East Fork Black River area.
So the trip and primary testof my dual battery system went great! I ran my fridge for 72hrs, charged drone batteries and cell phones and ran it down just below half capacity and was still showing 12.3v. Happy!
We have a diverse state here in AZ. I was out in East Fork and I felt like I was in the North woods of Wisconsin. Take the back way to Mt Lemmon in fall. It will pop your mind. Lockett Meadow is also amazing.
