It's just a trim package. I remember going to auto shows in the 60's and 70's and the manufacturers going all in on prototype models, I understand where you are coming from. I suspect no small percentage of that going away is directly attributable to nanny state government regulations...

LT\P or ST Tires for new overland trailer build

Ah, so passive aggressive wants to call me a troll, but yet produces no evidence of Carlisle making an ST in the USA. Cool, call names, get puffy eyed, apologize to OB, awesome. But the fact remains, and that is ST tires largely suck, and they are almost entirely Chinese made garbage...

Ridgeline could seriously stunt the Tacoma market if they would lay off of the soy for a little while.

    Good rock sliders/protection?

The part that says "aluminum running board" probably answers your question. Aluminim can certainly be used for a slider, but aluminum configured like that is is going to fold up like a flour tortilla unless there is a significant substructure.

So you're saying Maximus built the 10th Anniversary bumper for FCA? I didn't know that, but it is what came on my Hard Rock and what I put on my JT because the steel bumper was blocked out from ordering when I placed the order. I don't know that I would slag FCA too heavily, they have done a...

LT\P or ST Tires for new overland trailer build

Taiwan IS China. I'm specifically speaking to and about ST tires, not your lawn mower or ATV tires. If you can quote where I said generically that all Carlisle tires are shit, do so. Otherwise you are projecting.

LT\P or ST Tires for new overland trailer build

I seem to be overlooking the "factual data" that you presented? 40 years in the tire business, including quite a few of them watching Chinese tires beat the shit out of customers equipment who liked their price point, followed by a switch to the other side in fleet management including some...

    Overlanding with Physical Limitations

Congratulations on the willingness to struggle, many people would just lie down and wait. I've never seen a better argument than your case for a full size 4x4 van equipped with a lift. I don't know what your financial resources are, but I personally be focused on getting into a vehicle that...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Rear 2/3 deck in the Gladiator under ARE shell. 1515L T slot extrusion, 12mm Baltic Birch, swiveling lashing points. Increases bed capacity by about 80%. Still have to finish my charcoal canister for the fuel tank, but it's about 95%

Looks like a Mopar steel bumper with a Maximus grille guard. The wheels are off the shelf items, not too sure how much "tasking" took place as much as funds on a credit card to pimp zee ride

While while you're delivering them, start looking at the sidewall where it says "Made In" and you will discover you are wrong. Barring that just in case you don't trust your eyes, read the DOT, first four is the manufacturer.

ST tires are generically garbage with very, very few exceptions. The Chinese do a good job on some things, tires isn't one of them.

Too comment or not to comment! That is the question

Do I need to tell you why adjective comes first?

Too comment or not to comment! That is the question

A pejorative is an adjective, things don't "fit in it", I can't help you with that question. I'm not sure if you're looking to pick a fight or if your CO monitor is failing, in either event I'm disinclined to continue with you, have a nice day.

Too comment or not to comment! That is the question

There is a wide variety of pejoratives that can be used but generically speaking "Democrat" covers the field.

But if they do, they can still vote as long as they maintain the approved political orientation.

Absolutely, which runs in direct conflict with some of the replies in this thread.
