It will be the first one I've had with a rotary gear selector, but if the transmission is electronically actuated it makes sense. I have rented/driven several with rotary actuators and while odd, I didn't find them problematic
Dodge hasn't made a truck in 10 years. I am trading a 2016 Ram 2500 6.4 gas, crew cab 4x4 in on it. It has 155,000 miles on it with no significant problems, it still has the oem brakes on it. Before that I had a 2006 3500 drw. I also have a 2020 Gladiator, and before that a 2017 JKR. FCA has...
I think it has more to do with low profile. But they are reasonably well built and weather tight to the extent they need an atmospheric pressure valve on them so you can get them open.
I really, really, wanted a BD roof bar, but their Black Friday discount was pretty underwhelming (for a $2300 unit)so I ordered KC.
The LP4/6/9 are super nice lights
T nuts and bolts I'm sure.
I'm confident however that attaching a gun case to a roof rack is going to attract feral humans at a rate you may not be able to mitigate.
SSeems llike aan extraordinarilybbad idea to me.
This started life as a Craftsman(early/mid 80`s) sae/metric set. I gutted the sae added more metric, drivers, extensions, etc. The thing has elastic bands in it that (most of it) lost its elasticity decades ago. The silver bars are neodymium magnets laminated between .125x.500 aluminum stock to...
I'm watching you very nice truck
I ordered mine about 25 minutes ago, but I ordered the clandestine, poor man's version, I ordered a Tradesman and added the PW package to it. Looks like about 6 weeks to get it.
Purely opinion with no substance to support it, but I would expect a receiver mount(ed) winch plate to fail pretty quickly on heavy off angle pulls. Bigger winches and heavier trucks exacerbating those expectations.
I would be concerned with how the bumper is mounted to the frame as well...
And any effort to provide footprint dimensions will be greatly appreciated.
I'm in a similar place to the OP, I replaced the rear seat in the Gladiator with a plate system and would like a refrigerator back there hopefully on a slide if I can overcome the shape of the door opening
Here you go connect this or something similar (longer or shorter) to the battery and take to the bed, and then use
this or something similar to connect your lights.
When you take your rack off just unplug it, and you still have power to the bed if you want to plug something in.
12v remote control LED strip lights on Amazon
That said they use a tiny amount of electricity and connecting them to your main battery is not really a problem
LED strip lighting is inexpensive, easy to use and fully configurable. All of mine are on individual switches and dimmers. Three are mounted on the windows, so when you open it up it lights the perimeter around the truck, and you can shut off any or all as needed.
