The point is NONE of the domestic /major brand manufacturers other than Goodyear make an ST tire. The Chinaman knocked off the Goodyear Marathon which was probably the biggest piece of shit to ever wear the Goodyear name which is a pretty broad field.
P (passenger) no
LT (light truck) would be my choice
ST (special trailer service) are almost 100% made in China with all of the quality China is renowned for. The sole exception is Goodyear and I am not certain where they are built (possibly China)
I watch ol'Coyote Casey guy on the YouTubes and he goes out in the desert and searches for old structures and home sites, which in the frame of reality are just a bunch of garbage, the only differentiation is it is old garbage. He "discovers" old tin cans and other junk, gently lifts it from the...
Have not worn a mask, will not wear a mask. I quit trading with all businesses who "require" them.
I cancelled and had refunded my Sam's membership on the day they instituted their masking policy, took the hundred dollars to a locally owned grocery store with a "masks at your discretion"...
Every place on this planet was perfect and pristine before man took it over, so where do you draw the line? I abhor human hives, there is nothing more disgusting or abusive to the planet than a mega city, nothing. Yet people seem to think that is how it should be.
Build a fire ring and drive...
I put a set of 35/1050R17 Kenda Klever KR601 on the Gladiator based largely on the simple fact they are about the only ones who make a tallish skinny, although I read many glowing reviews and have industry experience so I am familiar with some of their technology. They have about 10k on them and...
There is a huge difference in tread compounds between at/mt/ht and different manufacturers.
Additionally most Mt tires are completely devoid of siping which makes them less prone to chipping, but generally downright dangerous when in snow.
Also as the tire ages the compound will harden...
Sort of true, Cooper has 2 plants in China, 1 in Mexico and at least 1 in Europe, probably more.
They are however American owned and I think most of the tires sold in the American market are in fact made here.
I've never been a fan, but I know people who are, and more than ever in our...
I haven't had them long enough to provide long term review, but I put a set of Kenda Klever KR601 on my Gladiator and am to this point extremely impressed in the over all ride quality, handling, traction and uniformity.
It is promoted as a hybrid tread design, to me it is really just a more...
You can be pretty certain that the only part of that that is ARB is the stenciling on it. That lanyard is typical of any of a million Chinese produced lights (many of which are quite good). If you spend a little time on the net looking, you'll probably find the exact same light branded something...
I like the above ground wood burners, mostly due to the fact that they can be made more efficient than a fire on the ground. I like that they are quick and easy and no rock gathering/redistribution involved. They produce more radiant heat by virtue of the fact that the ground isn't absorbing it...
Hi-lift jacks may be the second most polarizing topic on the internet.
There isn't much middle ground, and the "oooh those are dangerous" people feed the fear as much as is humanly possible.
Hi-lift jacks are definitely a case of "you have to be smarter than the tool you're using".
