I have a different roof rack (so YMMV), and the wind reflector helped a lot. I ran it without (sperate package that came a few days late) and had the same experience. The deflector brought it down by 90%.
What i also did was to add a "floor" to the rack -mostly to prevent stuff falling through...
It are Falken tires but I'm not sure if they are the Wildpeaks. Can't you choose between ATs and MTs?
Nevertheless that was not the reason for my choice. I did what every reasonable consumer does and watched YouTube videos and read reviews on the internet (because everything there must be...
I was in the same boat a few weeks ago when the tires on the truck needed to be replaced. After looking into what's out there i decided to buy a set of Falken Wildpeak AT and after a few thousand miles i can say that I like them.
Wow, a lot of non-Jeep friends in this thread :-)
I had two Jeeps for 16 years now (a YJ in the 90s and -still have- a JK Unlimited since 2011) and both were/are super reliable. In the JKU i had to change the starter at 140k+ last year, and I am at 151k now - no other problems at all, just...

I don't get that either. A solid tonneau cover will help and it still can be used for"truck things".
The reason for us to buy a F150 and not the Expedition was that there might be a need to transport a gas can or other stuff that you don't want in the cabin (@ my boys - the trash needs to go...
Not so sure about the fastback (my Wrangler has one, so I'm not opposed in general), but a bed rack with a RTT that doesn't stick over the cabin would be sweet. Even better if it is in the Gobi color...
The size that I run are 33s on the original rim (see photo). You will have to look up your rim though, there are differences in the width. Maybe yours is a bit wider than mine and you can run a wider tire.
I'm using mind maps as well (mostly for the job), and it helps to do an initial structure of topics. My preferred SW is XMind - there is still a free version available for download, they just hide it in the website...
You're welcome. I'm in the same situation - the wife drives the truck and I drive my Jeep :-)
The 33s fill the wheel well nicely and I didn't want to mess with things. I'm sure that small lift and wheels with less backspacing will allow larger tires without too much work.
I have a 2016 4x2 with the 18" Sport package wheels and replaced the original tires with 265/70 Falken Wildpeak ATs. They look much better and don't rub. I am confident that the 275s that are on the 4x4s have enough room for the same 70% ratio (my rim was just not wide enough - missing .5" and I...
