It is thinner, but when you roll it up it will fill the bag that it comes with nicely - and the bag is pretty large. It you leave it flat you should have no problems to fold it once and leave it in your tent.
I am actually looking for a tent that accommodates the Exped size for the very same...
We have the "regular" Mega Mat (10) for over a year now. and like it a lot. I don't see any need to "upgrade" to a taller one. It is very comfy for two adults.
We bought an Exped Megamat 10 when REI had a 25% off sale. Still pricy, but I really like it, and everyone of our friends, who have it, highly recommended it.

I did this too when I sold my JKU and then sanded down the back of the emblem, so that a new 3M pad will sit flush on it. I couldn't get the remainders of the glue removed using GooGone :-(
Can you install (sideload) the Google Play Store? That would give you additional functionality for non-car use - reading, music, etc. I did this on all my Amazon tablets and it is pretty easy to do there. Just download and install 4 files.

I haven't looked at the products you refer above, but I would look out for two things: geometry correction brackets, and the spring/lift rating. The first is self explanatory if you want to keep good driving manners, and the second is depending on the weight that will add to your Jeep - bumpers...
