SOLD Rigd Supply Ultraswing Multi Fit - $800

Hello. I realize this is an older post and the item is gone. I think you had the Frontrunner drop down table brackets on your rack. Do you know if the buyer was gonna use those? RIGd no longer makes them and I'm trying to locate/buy a set. Thx Wally c 9494665452

    Ford F-350 Help

Congrats on your truck. I had an '05 F250 w/Leer shell and (DIY) camp setup stolen on a cross country trip and had to start all over. F Detroit. Bear that in mind as you start your build. Security wasn't on my short list and that was a hard lesson. I replaced my '05 with a '17 F350. I...

Central CA coastal & mountains camping/overlanding recommendations (Ventura to Pismo corridor)

I can't believe I'm forced to write this post. I'm scheduled to go on a Baja tour (Bob Wohler) early June. Unfortunately, my F350 just blew a shock (Carli Pintop lift, King shocks) and I'm scrambling to orchestrate a rebuild on a tight schedule. My parts are in the work queue at...

How do you carry your bikes?

I have two foldable eBikes, which I typically throw in the back of my truck trip dependent. Wally

    Privacy Shelter

I overland in an F350 with an AT Habitat camper. It’s big and I’m spoiled, though there are trade offs where I can go. I have two toilet solutions 1 - (Cleanwaste GO Anywhere Portable Toilet Seat | REI Co-op). This is simple and cheap and my go to setup. 2 - Wrappon toilet (expensive...

    Baja guidance needed

Hola. I'm heading out early MAR for a quick overnighter near Ensenada, tentatively Punta Banda/La Bufadora. I see a few YouTubers posted amazing footage in that area. Does anyone have access/campsite details? I see El Mirador, Campo #7, and Cthulhu Temple sites on Google Maps. Can anyone...

    Roof top storage boxes

I have AluBox cases mated to Eezi-Awn (lockable) mounts, on a FrontRunner roof rack. I bought the boxes and mounts from Equipt in UT. I got a little creative with the Eezi-Awn mount to make everything work ... no drilling required. The pic isn't my truck, but it's basically how my setup looks.

    Carbon monoxide question

THANK YOU all very much. This was the info I needed.

    Carbon monoxide question

Got it, thx. I do have a small monitor installed already. With my tailgate/door closed, and my side windoors closed, the only wind would enter through the cab slider windows area, and that would be minimal. Is that adequate? I’m obviously thinking about security and/or stealth camping...

    Carbon monoxide question

I’ve been wondering what constitutes adequate ventilation when using a very small butane heater inside my AT Habitat camper shell. When I solo camp I don’t deploy the Habitat tent, as there’s enough space to sleep on my truck bed floor. If I crack the sliding window (adjacent to truck cab) is...

OE West road trip - Wickenberg AZ question

Thx for the reply. Yes, OE West is in Flagstaff. Crown King is probably further than I can get first day but I’ll check it out. I appreciate the suggestion.

OE West road trip - Wickenberg AZ question

I’m leaving San Diego 9/23 afternoon for OE West. I’m thinking about pausing for the evening in Wickensberg. I’ll be with my son and we’ll sleep in my truck camper (AT Habitat). Does anybody know that area well enough to recommend a place to disperse camp? We’ll probably arrive in the dark...

Latest trek - Parashant, North Rim

Im just getting around to sharing pics from my recent trip. My best friend flew in from OH and we joined Bob Wohler's Parashant caravan, and added a few extras (solo) on either side. It was a blast and my F350 delivered. Destinations included St. George, UT (Toquerville Falls, Sand Canyon...

    Parashant National Monument

My Habitat is very light, allegedly ~400 lbs, which is nothing for a full-size truck. However, with all my overland stuff in the bed there’s definitely a fuel economy impact. The FWC options are sweet if you are willing to give up the truck bed (can always take it off). I’m committed with my...

    Parashant National Monument

Hello all. I'll be on Bob's Parashant trip as well, very excited. My name is Wally and I'm coming from SoCal. A very good friend, Dave, is flying in from OH to join me on this trek. I'm in a 2017 F350 with a Habitat camper. It's great some of us are connecting in advance. Dave and I will...
