Seeking NV/AZ overlanding suggestions near OE West '24

Thank you Kent! We did a few sections of GCNP North Rim in '21, was incredible. I'll check out the OB1 map for the stuff you mentioned on the way to Flagstaff from Phoenix. Is there anything in particular that strikes you as must see on that route? That would be new terrain for me.

Seeking NV/AZ overlanding suggestions near OE West '24

Hello OB forum. I need input on NV/AZ overlanding suggestions during OE West timeframe (May 17-19). I just bought tix for me and two east coast friends flying in for the show. FWIW one of the guys has attended two prior OEW shows with me, the other is a first timer. All three of us are...

Exped MegaMat Duo 10 Sleeping Pad Review

I've used an Exped product for 5 years in my AT Habitat. I absolutely love it. I bought an Exped Widget Pump a few months ago and definitely recommend that as well. REIs price is ~$50, but they regularly have 20% off sales ... it's worth it. The Widget fully inflates my Exped Mega Mat 10 in...

Post pictures of your camp kitchen

Here's my typical setup, kitchen is in the back of my rig (F350 with AT Habitat). Tailgate down is often good enough for working space. I have pop-up tables and chairs for company. I have a few stove options depending on weather and what I'm cooking.

    Death Valley 2022

That would be great, THANKS. Last weekend, I plotted out my tentative waypoints with OnX. So, I'm probably good, but I'll take whatever you're willing to share.

    SOLD FS: ORIS Cooking System

Hey there. I'm down in San Diego area. What's the cheapest you could ship your Coleman stove to 92024 (Encinitas). Using the OEM box with popcorn or blister bubbles is probably fine. I can provide a business address if that's helpful. thx Wally

Nice, love that setup! I passed through Wickenburg just before Christmas. I got in one night of camping (F350 w/Habitat). Wish I'd have had some snow.

    Joshua Tree guidance please

Hello. I’m curious if anyone has dispersed camping guidance for the Joshua Tree/Palm Springs area late NOV. I was gonna stay at Indian Cove but they’re apparently closed Thanksgiving week. I need an overnighter spot just for one evening, driving up from San Diego to p/u family in Palm...

    Ideas for mobile worker

I have a Super Duty SBCC with an AT Habitat. I regularly work remote in my truck and, though it's a very well equipped "minimalist build" compared to a Four Wheel Camper, it does everything I need for both work and offroad fun. I can shoehorn my family of four into it for camping, but more...
