I like the way you think. “Exploring is a necessary” is the motto we go by. No where or how or by what means...by whatever means necessary, go wherever your heart leads you to explore. Thank you for your reply.
Last weekend the wife and I did our first ever dedicated Trash Run in the Ouachita NF. It was really awesome. We were able to do about 16 miles of Forest Road. It was pretty bad, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. We really made a fun day of it. We plan to do these about once...
Aplin to long hollow is really a nice cut through between Highways 60 and 7 in Arkansas. Posted on the "Share Your Routes" Thread

I was given some decomissioned military Pelican Cases. I pulled all the stickers off and painted them with the recommended paint listed on Pelican's website. They look so much better. And they match. And everyone knows that all things must match. lol
Not sure if I should even add this one here but it will be beneficial as far as my Overlanding goes. I found an Aluminum Receiver Carrier on Facebook Yardsale. I'm always hestitant to buy stuff second hand the pics weren't very good but when I arrived this was more than I ever bargained for...

Here is the route and info I posted that we did on our dedicated trash run. It goes down FR83 and then we went down FR96. There is not much scenery or really anything special on 83. But going down 96 was really cool because of the pipeline. I hope to be able to go down that soon. The views...
For those who were asking about how the trash run went. I posted a thread. But I posted it in the general discussion to try and encourage others in all parts of the world to schedule these.

Sunday I scheduled here in Arkansas a dedicated Trash Run for the Ouachita National Forest. I contacted the Winona Forest Ranger District and asked them to give me the areas with the most needed attention. We packed up the trusty FJ Cruiser and headed west.
I took the extra time to throw...
As I am always filled with horrific images of putting all this time and money into my rig and developing a relationship with it over time, everyone being ok and living another day is the best outcome. Rigs can be replaced. People can't. You can't be too careful these days. We live in a world...
Ordered a Trasharoo and installed it on the spare tire. Love it. It is exactly what I wanted. Enough to hold a little trash that I can pick up when I'm out on the Forest Roads or Trails. I always try to pick up at least 10 things every time I go out so that I leave it better than I found it...
I have posted on Instagram and tagged #trailguardian as I will do from now on with our trash runs. Thank you for this info and I will see what I can do about getting some flags or door magnets made. I greatly appreciate it.
Ok thank you. will do. So is #trailguardian and Overland Bound one in the same? Partners? What is the connection there? Not sure I have seen anything on that up to this point.
Haha yeah you got me. March - May are great and October - first of December are great. In between it is hit and miss. The humidity is a lot higher than what you would be used to on the west coast so the hot is hotter and the cold is colder. But we generally have really good weather. Let me...
