Yes it is. I was born there. My whole family is from there. My dad tells stories about getting chased by the light when he was a teenager. I’ve seen it a few years back. Haven’t been chased by it. Don’t think I want to be. Lol
Definitely want to follow this thread. Pretty close to home so I would be very interested in doing this. It doesn't have to be technical or rock crawling to be a great trip. Just some cool rigs, some cool people and some beautiful country. Dang I'm starting to sound like a 70's hippie. lol...
@Michael if you would allow me I would like your permission to have some of these made. Just for personal use for us guys around here as I am organizing dedicated trash runs in Arkansas. It would have really helped on Sunday. We did a trash run. I had both of my plano boxes on top full, my...

Thanks for the info @Steve. Exactly what I was wanting. I will be heading there in July. From the photos I saw I didn't see any dirt roads and actually I am thankful. The two times I go out to Ohio I do it on my secondary overlanding Rig...a 2012 Harley Davidson. lol. It really doesn't like...
Welcome from central Arkansas. I lived In Ashdown for a while but moved back home to Conway in 2005. Went through Dequeen quite a bit while down that way. And I too have never seen the Fouke Monster. But I have seen the Gurdon light. Lol
It went ok Pete. Apparently everyone had prior plans or other things that required their time. But that’s fine. I needed to get the word out a little earlier so that’s on me. But the wife and I went out and fulfilled our commitment. When I get Back to the office (if we all survive the...
