We used to run Kerosene in a heater years back in the house, yet I seem to remember the orfice had to be changed.. Can anyone confirm this change of fuel?
That seems weird.. If you roll up and a site is available, then it goes un-rented. I found a couple NF's that went internet reserve but both you could rent whenever you arrived. Their problem was no cell service at the CG.. worst was they blocked the bay-at-post.
Any clue why they stop it at...
I've done sections in NH (section 6) and only started into Maine (section 7). I'll recommend either Osceola Vista or Barnes Field as group camping. Both are White Mountain NF campgrounds. If I'm around when you come through NH, I may join you folks and explore into section 7 with ya's!
You've done much of the cosmetic work, nw it's time together under and beef the frame points. Several FR forums out there on Mods done to the frame/axle. Cracked frames at suspension mounts, outside walls sagging to mention a couple of the biggies. Mods are out there and I suggest researching...
Hmm... Let me work on this and see what I could do. You have interest in changing camping sites during your visit? I have a couple in mind on a drive that might work.
Said from a dude wearing what in his head??? Just busting' ya, since you busted me...
I work with Siri learning and she does great, short of the few I don't catch...
Anywho, (see Siri learned), where the OP is headed is close to some cool places in New Hampshire, or The Shire as I like to call...
Jesse... guys.. spec checker... that's a tough one..
See!!! spell, as I typed it came ut as spec... even worst when you dictate it and they spec it wrong... arg... I give up...
I don't despise (had to check) hiking in as long as it short. I like to travel with the 'belly boat' and that's easy...
I've heard of Moose River Plains and researched a bit. Seems like a lot of woods despised camping and hike in ponds. I need to dig deeper into it. I'm researching for a good camp spot near a stream/brook to do some fishing. I saw several great spots to fish while up there, yet tough finding a...
Both The Flatlander & BDR NE section 6 pass through there. Both are mostly paved with some dirt roads. Both are rural NH countryside! PM me if you want the .gpx files.
Just came back from our first trip through the Adirondacks! Stayed at Wellington Notch CG. You have a spot you are heading to...
Did a drive through and found so many rivers, streams. brooks of clear water just hoping to be fished. Not finding an abundance of spots to camp and fish.. Since my daughter has moved to NW NY I'll be traveling through a bit more than I have ever (like never..). All new to me! We just ran the...
I'm in the Nor'east and use it in all the National Forests! !/2 price on camping in the NF is still worth it! I've used it at National wildlife areas along the coast as well. Remember it's not just National Parks! It's all Federal run areas.
So happy to hear you visited the Nor'East. Gaspe is a very unique area if you get amongst the locals! Same can be said for Newfoundland (U being silent, first D almost, you'll get the hang of it).
I've wanted back for 3 years now... I also hope I out-live them...
You ever do come back to...
Hmm.. I see it as the trend ends in 5-10 years yet Federal government as typical will have these changes in place and it will remain. They don't typically return to a simpler way..
Latest issue I ran into is now the increased costs of reserving a site. My cost for a site is almost the same...
I didn't cut my basket, yet did add a XPS divider as you did. Works better okay in my mind, not great.. It's temperature swing and to keep items frozen tends to make upper section too cold. We use it to aid length of time for frozen items (not to freeze).
Reality is they are small units and we...
