I'm a 100% maybe at this time. I'm defiantly working on Saturday because of all the rain this week. If you need to bump me to make room for someone who can for sure make it, please do.
Yep, I bought a drawer that was pre made that a guy used in his 60/62 series. I ended up having to stick some 2x4's underneath it to get the drawers to open. The only think I don't like about it is that it is only between the wheel wells. It's made out of bamboo and the edges are routed, so I...
Can you guys post the exact coordinates when you make camp (I assume there will be cell service)? If I can make it, it won't be till later Saturday night. All this rain, while needed, is putting us way behind at work, and it's supposed to rain this Monday and Tuesday.
Sorry I forgot to mention the reason why. My LX470 is full time 4 wheel drive. If I lose traction, then all the power gets sent to that wheel. I can lock my center differential to stop that, but I would still fill more in control if I had 4 Maxtraxs. That being said, 2 is better than none.
If I go, its looking like it won't be till Saturday evening. The 3 weeks of rain in Dec/Jan really put us behind at work and I probably have to work Saturday.
I'm running BFG KO2's. As far as sliders, I'm looking at the ones from White Knuckle Off Road. http://white-knuckleoffroad.com/toyota100series.htm. The main reason is they are located in the next city over from me. As far as the roof rack, it's from http://www.trail-tailor.com/index.html.
Here...
It all depends on your budget. You can run 285/75/16's with stock suspension. I'd just throw some good tires and a pair of sliders and you can handle most stuff. That's what I did (minus the sliders, I'm still working on getting those). Then I started getting my camping gear (RTT, awning...
So to continue the good will, I have an older Haynes manual for 87-00 (I'm sure it will work for most TJ's, but I'm not guaranteeing it) Jeep Wranglers. I no long own a Jeep, so I don't need this. I will pay to ship it out to someone who needs it.
I'm building a trailer out of a utility bed. The plan is to have it loaded and always ready to go, so I can just hitch it up and leave when I want to go.
What is your opinion/experience with the various off road trailer hitches on the market? I am currently building a new trailer and it currently has a pintle hook on it. I'm building a new frame and am considering change over to a Lock-N-Load or a Max-Coupler or just to a 2" ball. Most of my...
