I had a Pelican 65Qt. It was just to big and bulky. I ended up selling it and getting a 80 Qt fridge. They are about the same size, and the fridge weighs less.
1989 Suburban. I'm very familiar with this series of GM trucks, needed the room, and had a older one that the body was rusted to crap, I already have a ton of parts.
I'm cheap, so I bought a few of these used USMC surplus deployment bags. I wouldn't consider them water proof, but water resistant.

Here is how she looks right now. I just got my Dana 60 back with 4:88's and a crossover steering. I need to install my lift, the Dana 60 and 14-Bolt w/ disk and detroit, the crossover steering. Then I need to install the rear bumper and build dual swing outs for a spare tire and fuel/water cans.
Next order of business was to build a drawer/sleeping platform in the back. I had a couple of friends come help me with it.
The back of the Suburban was only 5'-8", so I had to make a flip up platform extenson.
Figured I may as well start a build thread on my 1989 GMC Suburban. I bought it for $1500 w/ 119k miles, full power (except tailgate), A/C, etc. I have another old Suburban that is rusted to the point of junk, but I'm taking all the good parts off it and installing them on this one.
