Wrong. It takes more energy to move a heavier vehicle, no matter the vehicle type. You get some portion of that back on a long downhill, but going over rocks and boulders, regen doesn't have time to kick in.
My trailer build was for my city girl wife who refuses to sleep on the ground anymore. Now she complains about the fan noise on the heater when it is 80 inside and -20 outside. Go figure?
I am finishing up my work contract in Arizona and I am heading back to Loveland in a couple of days. Looking forward to getting together with some of you. Heading back through Monument Valley and Moab. Hope to get some good pix.
There are parallels in almost any endeavor. I come from a rock crawling background. We have a saying, chrome don't get you home. You see people spend $60k on a vehicle and they strut around saying how good of a driver they are since they have all the fancy toys.
In the 60's, being on ski...
Just a heads up for some of you. Lights under a vehicle are illegal in Colorado. They may not enforce it, but if you piss off the cop, it is one more ticket you can get.

There are actually two different dishes from SpaceX, the older round dish and the new flat dish. The new flat dish actually automatically locks on and tracks a satellite. Because of its shape, it can get blown around by the wind, but it tries to compensate. It is not designed to really handle...
It is good to see someone recognize that finally satellites can actually be faster than terrestrial cable. I worked on writing data traffic handling for a satellite called STPSAT6 for Northrup Grumman and NASA. You can find it on WIKI. It stood a proof of concept satellite for earth to ground...
I want to interject, the tire pressure listed on the tire is NOT the pressure you want to run. That is the absolute pressure to every be allowed.
If you air up to the MAX pressure then go out and run in the heat at highway speeds, the tire will heat up and the pressure will increase...
Let me clarify some of the roaming questions, being an aerospace engineer and working in this field, I have intimate knowledge of how this all works.. In the beginning, each Starlink satellite would talk to a subscriber as it passed overhead and directly relay the signals back to an ground...
