Not a build as much as a resurrection?

Show them the money! Tuesday, November 20, 2018 Last week I’d started ripping into the leaking window and rotted truck side issue. This, like all projects, snowballed beyond anything I could ever foresee. Also this time, instead of buying a bunch of tools and struggling for weeks to learn...

    Resolved RESOLVED Map's having issues.

Something's changed in the way the member's map is running. I thought it was completely broken, but it turns out that it just loads REALLY slow. We're talking, walk away from your computer, do something else while it loads. While loading, it locks up the process that's used to view it. You can't...

Christmas Tree Run From Skykomish Ranger Station to Tonga Ridge - 12/09/2018

You need to put the GPS thing on there so it shows up on the Member's Map. That way locals will know its nearby. Well, when they get the map fixed that is. -jim lee

    How about steam powered rotisserie?

Was thinking how to go about roasting something over a camp fire using some sort of rotisserie. I've seen where people make a paddlewheel in a creek and use that. I thought about the self powered fans for setting on wood burning stoves. Then it came to me. How about a steam powered rotisserie...

    who likes bacon :)

Ok, back to bacon. Two BBQs ago, a buddy of mine baked a pan of Jalapeno peppers that had been sliced open, insides scooped out and replaced by Philadelphia Cheese. Then, wrapped in bacon to hold it together. YUM!! I ate nearly all of them. Then, next morning, I diced up the left overs really...

    who likes bacon :)

It was "British" because, during WWII, the German U-Boats were cutting off all their food shipments. At the same time, we were sending over thousands of military personnel. We shipped massive amounts of SPAM over there to help keep everyone fed. -jim lee

    NW Washington. We should meet.

Umm the one I tok to that original meet up was a 1953 Dodge M37. The picture I use for my avitar? 1942 Dodge WC53 Carryall. Theoretically nearly identical drivelines. But from some changes the M37 rides like a Caddy off road whereas the Carryall rides like an Ox cart. -jim lee

    NW Washington. We should meet.

Yeah, VERY short notice, but.. I'm throwing a meetup/BBQ Tomorrow 11/3 Noon-ish. A bunch of locals. A big part of the group is people who build stuff. Lots of craftsmen with mad skills. The other smaller part may be, err.. Hippies? I figured the people building up overland vehicles would mix in...

Event Cancelled - BBQ with freaks n geeks. - 11/03/2018

Having a BBQ with a bunch of locals. Most of the people coming build things from electronics to race cars to boats and more. I figured the people building overland vehicles would be a good mix in. Sadly, I thought of this at mostly the last minute. So if you are good at curve balls, show up...
