Jeep Concepts... If they would make it would you buy it?

I'd buy it at the right price, but if they think they can use the wrangler pricing scheme I'll just go the route my dad did. Dodge extended cab, long bed, 4x4, cummins diesel, new in the model year for $42k. The American truck market has plenty of options.

Hidden Falls (Central Texas) Wheelin Weekend

Lookin like Feb 18th. It is also looking like a variety of capabilities so even if there are two groups, nobody should be going places either alone or where they aren't comfortable.

rtic coolers are on sale currently

I doubt they will suffer much. They can advertise the loss by saying "same quality at half the price, the judge said so"

Off Road trailer with raising deck/platform for Roof tent/awning.

Look at the mechanism that raises a pop up tent trailer for inspiration. You'll likely need bracing to support weight though.

    Long Trip Tools.

I'd also add a hammer, rubber mallet and pry bar. I didn't see zip ties listed.

I like mine because you can also load it with AA batteries. Gives you the option to remove it from the vehicle. For instance, take it with me in the kayak or hiking.

To connect to a proper antenna, I used a BNC connector from radio shack, catalog number 2780120. The store in San antonio had a few on a peg.

I'm hearing even the out of tune radios from 2 miles at the various industrial facilities I pass.

I'm running a midland handheld with a scoche magnetic base antenna. I don't know the range yet but the SWR is right at 1 on channel one and about 1.5 at ch 40. They all push 4 watts max I'm thinking my voice isn't sexy enough to get a radio check. Lol

Also, it would be a good idea to get a cb. Cell phones don't work well out there. Here's what I'm running. Effective and portable.

Hidden Falls (Central Texas) Wheelin Weekend

The trails are mostly hill country limestone with some black soil, yellow caliche, and a few spots with the reddish sandy clay. The trails are relatively well maintained but some have washed out. I'll post pics from my last trip (12/31/15) Stock jeep patriot 4x4 and stock jeep renegade 2wd...

The camo box is a locking pencil box from Walmart (vaultz 8.5x5.5x2.5 inch) with metal sides, the little bottles are 0.5 oz glass square shakers from a resturaunt supply store that are about 1.13 inches wide. Add a layer of electrical tape for cushioning and label surface.

Oh, then look into military rifle crates. Even if you don't buy one, it is a good sturdy design that can be adapted for hinges on the lid and sliding rails on the bottom.

    Chuck box ideas

This is much smaller than yours but I like multi purpose items. I use a small cooler to store the cooking tools. You can always dump everything into a bag and fill the cooler with ice if you need to change applications. Probably don't want to do that with a wooden or uninsulated plastic box...
