It's always tough to search something on a forum when you don't know the name of it though....
1. - Chainsaw - left at camp. We were driving out of the bush to hit town after a week in the bush. A tree was down on the trail we had been on a number of times with the quads... it was not expected. So I used a little handsaw and snatch block and winched it off the trail.

We just used adult bags but a few years ago we did buy sleeping bag liners. That seemed to be a big hit.
I've accumulated a fair number of bags myself too.... so in cold temps I jam 1 bag into another and drastically increase the thermal value of them.
I've been using the Browning privacy tent for a few years now.
Gale force winds destroyed the cross-member fibreglass poles.... we replaced them and the rain fly (pole sliced through it when it broke).
We now put it in a spot where there's a bit of relief from the wind.

My limb risers get used extensively and are definitely worth their weight.... but I don't keep them on when I'm not going to be utilizing them.... kinda...
The only time I didn't like using CB for comms was when a certain party or parties didn't have their CB tuned properly and/or a partially broken antenna.
I was at the FJ Summit recently and we ran into that a lot.

As Steve posted above... the list is good, but I would make the one change with regards to "Central Canada" being switched to "Eastern Canada" as it's more accurate geographically speaking.

My buddy did his truck with bedliner... it didn't take long for it to look like crap.... peeling, flaking, etc.
I agree prep is key... he likely did not prep it well enough.
I plan on getting my FJ linex'd (same kinda stuff) at some point but I'll have it professionally done so it stays on the...
