In case any of y'all are bored at work or home... and need a little inspiration about the trails at Jambo.
Not all are my videos butI pretty much stuck the gopro on my roof rack and started filming, but here is my playlist from Jambo 2015...
So around Xmas, a guy on Texas Overland's facebook page had a group buy. I got in on this almost at the last minute and I JUST this weekend got to put the legs on it and season it for the first time.
I think I'm going to be liking this disk cooker!
It's pretty much like the skottle, not sure of...
Thanks man!
Honestly, I don't remember any pinstriping on those trails. I think you'll be ok.
There is a trail called Greasy Spoon that I didn't get to go on last time. Hopefully next visit. I think it's less touristy from what I remember.
There were youtube videos I found a while back.
There is or was a lot of aftermarket parts and camping gear for the Element. I think there's even a company that does pop up tents on the roof.
I almost bought one years ago, and for whatever reason I ended up with a Pickup. (Probably cuz I'm in Texas, it's a "thang" you know...)
One of my...
I've got some videos of my trip to Sedona. They are pretty much the gopro stuck on my roof rack while I drive the trails, but it'll give you an idea what the trails are like.
Another cool spot is Soldier Pass, up by the sinkhole. (It's a right up the hill once you get on the trail)
Here's a...
Schnebly Hill RD is a fun and scenic drive up to the overlook.
Broken Arrow Trail is longer and a fun trail.

So I just got this at REI on Saturday. I got it home and unboxed it. Took me 30 seconds to set up!
I had another one from Gander Mountain that didn't quite work for me. The spot where my coleman grill went, wasn't big enough for the grill and the propane bottle to hand off of.
This one has the...
They had some at Barnwell Mountain weekend before last.
That link has a list of vendors in your local area, if not you can call and have it sent to you. Takes about 4 - 6 days.
I call them at the end of August every year, they send the new ones and I'm good to go. :)
So I whipped this video out yesterday. These are on some of the trails at Barnwell Mountain, where Jambo is held.
My rig isn't in any of these, since I was taking the videos.
Here's one a friend made. I'm in the beginning and at around 9:09
I forgot to get photos of the campsite, but I met about 12 guys from the FJ Cruiser Forums and drove out to Barnwell Mountain to camp and wheel.
Here's some photos of them wheeling.
I was out wheeling on Saturday when they opened up registration. I'm #26 this year.
For those of you taking kids, there are 2 campsites that have quiet times earlier than the rest of the camp sites. Old Camp is one of them, I forget the other one. They are listed on the jambo website, however...
