DFW's Meet and Greet Drawing Board

It figures... I stay off the internet for a while and I miss out on all the fun. I posted on the Rally Point, but I'll let y'all know that I'm going to be in Wimberley that weekend. It sucks, because Bass Pro is a great location for me. Oh well, next month I guess. On another note, I'm...

DFW's Meet and Greet Drawing Board

There is a Fox & Hound in North Arlington. Plenty of parking but I don't know about the Ice Tea. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Fox+%26+Hound/@32.7844751,-97.0940791,17.5z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x864e7dffa1b33b59:0x974ccd14197d3077!8m2!3d32.7855348!4d-97.0938035 I think the Stockyards might be a...

    Soldier pass trail closure

Yup, I heard homeowners too. However, only certain Jeep Tours can utilize it and private citizens need permits.

    Which GPS do you use

I use a galaxy tab a (8 inch screen) Mounted that to the CD Player I use a few different GPS apps: Backcountry Navigator, Avenza maps, Custom Maps. A friend really likes the GIAA maps, so I might test that one out.

    IronPercheron in Seguin

There is Hidden Falls Adventure Park, up near Marble Falls. That's at least an hour north of Seguin though. IF you're on Facebook, there's a group called Texas Overland that has a bunch of routes in their file section.

    Lonestar Toyota Jamboree - May 4th - 7th

Yeah, I usually try to have everything ready to load up before hand. I'm not as prepared this time as I took the wife down to the Hill country last weekend and it's been a busy week this week. I'm going to hit the store for some ice and waters today. Tonight I'll toss everything in the rig...

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

So with all the hail we typically get this time of year, I went and bought this. Last year I got hit pretty bad, so I figured I'd go ahead and spend the deductible now... Should be delivered tomorrow.

    Lonestar Toyota Jamboree - May 4th - 7th

It's pretty much first come first serve. ArkLaTex and TTR (Toyota Trail Riders) are typicaly reserved for members. Rover Camp (AKA Camp Maybe) is a good camp. There is a family camp if you don't want the kids to hear adults on adult beverages, that one is Old Camp. That being said, there is also...

    Lonestar Toyota Jamboree - May 4th - 7th

I'm getting there thursday evening after I get off work. I'm staying at the ArkLaTex camp in my campsite. I'm sure I'll start off Friday morning hitting the trails. Lunch time I'll head over to the pavilion for food and seeing everyone. This year I'll be looking for OB emblems to say hi.

Coming from Los Angeles to Arizona. (Need Suggestions)

Yeah, AZ is one of my new favorite states. The trick to Sedona is to go during the week. Otherwise those pink jeeps are everywhere. Looks like an epic trip. Camping near the rim is on my next "to do" list when I go up there.

Might just be you and me, haha. Did you get your lift installed? I'm going to start going through my camping equipment this weekend this weekend. I'm going to lighten up my camping equipment I take that I don't need.

DFW's Meet and Greet Drawing Board

Ooops, I forgot to mention above (My wife would be upset if she heard me type this), but my anniversary is on the 28th, so I'll be out of town with her exploring the Hill Country.

DFW's Meet and Greet Drawing Board

I'll be at the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree the first weekend in may, otherwise Count me in. Looks like near where I used to live 18 years ago. For a weekend, the location is good. I was thinking about doing one in a few months but more centrally located.
