I posted on the event, but yeah, I really need to try to go meet everyone.
I don't think I have any "Honey Do's" this Saturday. Besides, I've never been to Uncle Bucks
Ok, I really need to make it out to this event!
I'm going to do my BEST to get up to Grapevine this Saturday. I'll probably be there right before 6pm.
Guess I won't wash it before hand... don't want y'all mistaking me for a mall crawler! HAHA
Man, I am so sorry I didn't reply sooner. December was busy for me and I didn't log into OB forums for a month or more now.
So yeah, it's cold at night but usually nice during the day. I hear this year it was pretty darn cold. We even dropped down below freezing here in DFW.
Did you get to...
If you head toward Austin, maybe you should stop in Big Bend instead. It's awesome this time of year and most vehicles can make it all over the parks.
The National Park and the State Park are both right there. The National park has more amenities and the State Park has nicer rangers, less...
Pretty good video. Looks like y'all had a good time.
I've heard that's a cool area out there. I would have liked to see more of the country and views and of course, the rigs in action!

They typically hit both parks and surrounding areas. If you're on facebook, look up Texas Overland if you aren't already part of that group.
I plan on...
Luckily I haven't had to use them yet. All the research I did showed they work just as well. What I do like about them is if the plugs get melted from tire spin, there is a way to get them replaced.
It was a blast for sure! The venue was big, the folks participating were a ton of fun.
Lots of great rigs to drool over and like Laud said, the vendors were great.
I'll be leaving Arlington roughly 7:30 - 8am in order to meet Jeremy Keenan from Keenan Offroad Fabrication in Glen Rose Square at 9am. From there we are going to work our way to the campgrounds.
If anyone wants to join us, meet us there or let me know if you'll be somewhere along the way...
Great thread!
I'm in Arlington, so no issues here. I have family that lives in SW Houston near Meyerland that got 2 ft of water in the house.
Luckily they had a 2nd floor and were able to help out the neighbors.
The water receded Sunday and somehow they got ahold of their contractor and he was...
