The west has their drone videos and sweeping music laid on top of epic shots of alpine passes and desert canyons, but the East has a great deal if you look for it. Outfitters like Mill Creek Overland, Apex Overland and Asheville Vehicle Outfitters. Organized trail rides by Asheville Vehicle...
I have a DFG slide made for my Engel 45. It is solid, and does not rattle. I highly recommend DFG.
I ordered on 15 July, and received on 31 August. Their "20-30 days to ship" on the website means 30 business days, or 6 weeks.
Worth the wait because it is a quality product made to your...
You can crank it up to a ludicrous flame - 3+ feet and burn through almost a pound of propane in an hour. 60K BTU or some such. Or turn it down to a reasonable level for 3-4 hours per pound.
I use a 6 lb aluminum Worthington purchased through Powertank. Not cheap, but decent capacity in a small footprint with low weight. It fits on a half swing-out, alongside a jerry can mount.

The hinges are set different. One is further from the bracket so the arms fold over the other arms. By changing sides, the rear hinge was an extra inch and a half out from the side, which made a big difference with the tailgate.
I just use a military E-Tool.
Forget D rings, which can't take side loads like a bow shackle. One bow shackle in the hitch receiver may be all you need in back, but a second isn't a bad idea. Use Van Beest (Green Pin), Crosby, or Columbus McKinnon.
