That looks clean. Way better than my spider web of ratchets. But i can see how you use the ears for.
Right, i won't trust it either. I'm thinking about drilling a hole to have positive hook on the ears. But now I checked on it again and that may compromise the plastic with repeated...
So I got a couple of plano containers and I am wondering what you folks have done to mount these on your rack using the tie-down ears. I'm currently strapping them down but i like the idea of using the tie-down ears so i can have quick access to my stuff without having to unstrap 4 ratchets...
Here's another one. Decent size and manageable footprint

With glaring ice, the best you can do is scream loud, that's negative propulsion. I've had my car on winter tires slide uncontrollably on ice -- and i know not to touch the brakes.
On most snow conditions, locking it up is a proper technique for getting those tires to dig thru snow/slush...
I got this Iwatanani grill, that table matches well with this grill. I just got a new camp table so that will have to be for next time. And yeah we do tend to do fancy dinners whenever we are camping
I left a note on the site as well. I'm going to be in the area this weekend and was hoping to hit some of the trails. Although it won't likely happen since I don't think my company will like driving on these roads on our way to Bayfield.
Anyways, someone posted their route on gaia site, i...
I ordered one, should be getting it tomorrow. But similarly, i don't really need an action camera but i can find occasional use for it. I showed the link to my little ones and they got pretty excited so i think it'll see pretty good action.
Wow 180 orders?!
I just got mine installed last week - about 6 weeks wait time. I'd be interested if they can throw discount on accessories since i think i'll want a quick disconnect for my JKU.
I've always loved camping and going places but it's only now that i have found a concrete purpose to what i am doing. I have two kids that I would like to have the opportunity to see and experience things in a different way before they reach their age where they will detach from us and join the...
Took the whole day to install my gobi rack on the jeep. My wife helped me out getting the basket to the roof neither of us are particularly big and strong bodied. We made it and we the jeep want harmed either.
I'm worn out i cant even be bothered to take a picture lol.
Wife is saying it...
Jeep JK owner so it comes stock wih quirks. #1 for me is how it moves around with a slight hint of breeze. It can get annoying on long drives but the good thing is it keeps you busy and awake.
I've had my Coleman for probably over 15yrs and we've gone thru all sorts of cooking/camping that I am unable to let go of it despite knowing that there's a better stove out there. For sure i will have to had that stove to my kids.
I have a Viair 88P which works well for the stock jeep MT tires (32). You can also heat hotdogs or what with it so it's dual-purpose.
I see it's $62 now in amazon.
i'll be visiting my mom for 2 weeks over in the Philippines, it should be fun to hit some beach resorts.
Which means all my build budget will be depleted. The good thing is that i have the Gobi rack ordered already, and that the wife has approved RTT purchase. Those should aid for our plan...
