There should be a door jamb sticker you can use to decode the rear end ratio and LSD (or not)...
The 5.4L is a good engine, once past the first spark plug change. There are also a lot of posts on cam phaser issues in these years, but I kinda don’t wanna know, so I try not to read them :)

Thr Truxxx lift for these is about 2.75” in the front, and only 1” in the back... it’s helpful for the front end on ground clearance, and more of a leveling kit... I installed a similar one on our Expedition and it was pretty easy with an impact gun/sockets. Alignment is required afterward...
I have a 2006. What tips are you looking for?
Truxxx has a great lift kit for them, for about $400... I have the owners phone number, maybe we could go in on getting two kits for half price or something... :)
We are selling our Expedition and moving our overlanding over to our 2006 F150 here...

Custom built roof rack for sale. Bolts onto the roof rails (tracks) of a 2003-2006 Ford Expedition. Fits perfectly, and includes stainless steel hardware.
Built by a local fab shop out of .065 wall steel tubing, then powdercoated a flat, textured black.
Rack also holds a 4' plastic Lifetime...
Lining is VERY heavy. Powdercoating is not. If lining starts to pull away it can lead to large chipped areas. Powdercoating just scratches like paint.

-Despite the 3” lift and just under 31” tires, rocks in creeks still wreak havoc on the underside...
I work at an RV rental, repair, and parts shop, and we are a Dometic dealer. The important thing to remember (in my opinion) is that everything eventually breaks. Dometic has been in business for decades, and they sell parts for their fridges. This is important to me for longevity...
Not bad...
We had no such choices... basically we had about $300 so I bought what was available on craigslist, a CVT 2 sleeper. It was barely used and works awesome. Their customer service is excellent.
When the time came to outfit my daughter’s Montero, we found a 2 week old Tepui on Craigslist for $350...
My kids all started with Dueter Starlight bags, and we put a blanket inside to reduce the amount of airspace they had to heat. The bags extend for when kids get older. Our kids got 7 years out of them and could have gone longer... they are 40 degree bags, and we bought 40 degree bags for us so...
