I have a T4, you should be able to stand up straight no problem. I can put my arms above my head almost all the way straight at 5'8"

I think you have to keep some lift on a Silverado to clear the square wheel wells I think switching to a 17 or 18 inch wheel on 35” tires would be a big visual change
