$725... OUCH! that's pretty heavyits nice but GEEEZ its expensive. the shortened height idea is cool, but when u have a full load on it, back door opening or tire swinging out is still out of the question until you completely unload it. idk if id PERSONALLY spend that kind of loot on that when there are WAYYYYYY cheaper and just as efficient ones on the market. I carried about a cord of wood on the little $60 one from Walmart for about 100miles on my way to ocotillo wells a couple months ago! Just my input....im not knocking it tho! its a LOT prettier than the one I was using and does look pretty heavy-duty.

I have one of the Wal-Mart (link) ones with the angle edges that we've used for years now. I added a 1.5x1.5" angle aluminum bracket to the middle of each side to increase the strength of the expanded metal floors. I've carrier t-cases, coolers, totes, tires, ect on it and have taken it to the beach 4 times now on various vehicles. The last time it had my 73qt cooler loaded down with food and ice on one side and a large Rubbermaid Action Packer tote full of sleeping/camping gear on the other. It even has spots to relocate the rear license plate to the carrier since what you are hauling obscures the plate and the last thing I need is ANOTHER reason to be pulled over.Just bought a Pakmule hitch cargorack.

I need room to carry bundles of firewood for camping, and they are not going to fit inside my FJ Cruiser.
I barely had room last year for one bundle of firewood.
What I like about this rack is it is aluminum, fully welded and put together, and made in the USA, not imported.
Kind of pricey, but from what I have read about it online and talking to the owner, it is one of the best ones out there right now.
Free shipping too, and I will gt pics after I get it.
They make a taller one, but I would not be able to open my rear door.

Thank you very much. There’s a few companies out there but smittybilt seemed to be the Best Buy & feels bullet proof I’m 240 lbs & no problem.Jku ben,
Those little step deals are sweet. I've never seen those before. Great idea.

Those little steps are SWEET! Almost makes me want to drill holes in my Xterra!View attachment 52254 View attachment 52253 love wrenching on the Jeep. Fox 2.0 getting delivered Thursday
Get the sliders! There's a thread on here about building a skottle from a plow disc. Great excuse to learn to weld!I recently bought an Outdoor Vitals Aerie 20degree bag, Moog bushings and sway bar links.
I’d like the Maxtrax and a Tembotusk Skottle, but I really would prefer spending the $ on some sliders first.
