I'm learning things the hard way with my first rig. The previous owner did a budget lift on it. Just enough to fit 33" on it. And with a lot of trial by error I am working the suspension out. I think I could have paid for a well thought out kit with the money I have poured into mine. But I also would not understand the the way it works and diagnose problems when they arise out on the trails.
I asked because even though lifting a suspension with coils all the way around is tricky. I think done right it's better than leaf packs in back.
You can go a lot of places with it stock and save for a good kit, but where is the fun in that? My wife gets on me with how much of my money I pour into my rig. She tried to get me to account for it all, thinking it might make me come to my senses. Right that ain't happening.
